Ain't this the truth?
If a conservative doesn't like guns, he doesn't buy one. If a liberal doesn't like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.
If a conservative is a vegetarian, he doesn't` eat meat. If a liberal is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone.
If a conservative sees a foreign threat, he thinks about how to defeat his enemy. If a liberal wonders how to surrender gracefully and still look good.
If a conservative is homosexual, he quietly leads his life. If a liberal is homosexual, he demands legislated respect.
If a person of color is conservative, they see themselves as independently successful. Their liberal counterparts see themselves as victims in need of government protection.
If a conservative is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation. A liberal wonders who is going to take care of him.
If a conservative doesn't like a talk show host, he switches channels. Liberals demand that those they don't like be shut down.
If a conservative is a non-believer, he doesn't go to church. A liberal non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced. (Unless it's a foreign religion, of course!)
If a conservative decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it. A liberal demands that the rest of us pay for his.
If a conservative slips and falls in a store, he gets up, laughs and is embarrassed. If a liberal slips and falls, he grabs his neck, moans like he's in labor and then sues.
If a conservative reads this, he'll forward it so his friends can have a good laugh.
A liberal will delete it because he's "offended".

Liberals are mentally retarded. There is simply no other logical explanation.

I was thinking about this exact thing earlier this week. I came up with one phrase that I wanted to sum the whole thing up with, and I think I came pretty close:
Conservatives want everyone to live by the Golden Rule.
Liberals want everyone else to live by the Golden Rule.
Simple as that. It’s the foundation of all their hypocrisy, double standards, one set of rules for them and their buddies, everyone else lives by another set of rules.
I had my first child two weeks ago. I got over a hundred e-mails of congratulations.
Most of the ones from my conservative friends said something like “what a blessing!”
Most of the ones from my liberal friends said “prepare to get no sleep.”
It wasn’t absolute, of course. Some of the conservatives mentioned the sleep business, and some of the liberals just congratulated me. But the pattern was there.
(By the way,it’s been great. And thanks to taking shifts and help from the grandparents, we’ve managed to get enough sleep—so far.)
Don't you think it is selfish to bring children into the world?
I asked him if he liked to be alive. Yes, he said. I told him that he should be glad his mother didn't think it was selfish to bring HIM into the world.

I have four in the nest and two fledged. I know all about losing sleep, but it's all good in the end. You're gonna love it.

Congratulations!!! Children change our lives in so many positive ways. I can't imagine (nor would I want to!) what my life would be today without my children.
When we had our first child, I was scared witless at being a new parent. The realization of all the things we as new parents didn't know frightened the daylights out of me.
When we had our second son 1 year and 11 months later, I couldn't wait to get him home to be with his big brother.
Almost 13 and 11 years later respectively, I've completely lost count at the number of ways my own life has been so enriched and changed for the better because of my son's.
Just remembering the journey to this point has me smiling as I type, and I hope and pray for you that your journey with your new child is as wonderful and blessed as mine has been with my children.

Thank you, Lady. It also helps if you can home school your kids, to keep them from being indoctrinated by the leftists. We're home schooling our four youngest, and it makes a world of difference.
