It is a pretty good read, and one I agree with. It is time to de-fund the left, and if that means we need to stop supporting their supporters than so be it. There are plenty of good Country Stars out there who support conservatives like, George Strait, Brooks and Dunn, Charlie Daniels, Darrel Worley, Trace Adkins, Gretchen Wilson, John Rich, Toby Keith, Sara Evans, and others.

So let us all remove the liberals from our Christmas lists this year, shall we?

I stopped listening to Tim McGraw when he sang Red Cabriolet. In that song the girl chooses to have an abortion and Tim’s response is ..well we won’t think about it. That did it for me!

Is Toby Keith really a conservative? I thought there had been some dispute over that.

Also Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood are Democrats, if I recall.

Brad Paisley’s latest hit.

When I was ten years old,
I remember thinkin’ how cool it would be,
When we were goin’ on an eight hour drive,
If I could just watch T.V.

And I’d have given anything
To have my own PacMan game at home.
I used to have to get a ride down to the arcade;
Now I’ve got it on my phone.

He-e-ey...
Glory glory hallelujah.
Welcome to the future.

My grandpa was in World War II,
He fought against the Japanese.
He wrote a hundred letters to my grandma;
Mailed em from his base in the Philippines.

I wish they could see this now,
Where they say this change can go.
Cause I was on a video chat this morning
With a company in Tokyo.

He-e-ey...
Everyday is a revolution.
Welcome to the future.

He-e-ey...
Look around it’s all so clear.
He-e-ey...
Wherever we would go and well we...
He-e-ey...
So many things I never thought I’d see...
Happening right in front of me.

I had a friend in school,
Running-back on a football team,
They burned a cross in his front yard
For asking out the home-coming queen.

I thought about him today,
Everybody who’s seen what he’s seen,
From a woman on a bus
To a man with a dream.

He-e-ey...
Wake up Martin Luther.
Welcome to the future.
He-e-ey...
Glory glory hallelujah.
Welcome to the future.

How’s that communist future working for you Brad?

Brad Paisley has always seemed a bit wimpy to me. I’d bet he loses badly in a fist-fight with any of the above-listed conservative country singers.

Paisley is just like Mcgraw. He acted all faux conservative until he was big enough to come out of the liberal closet.

I long ago took McGraw off my list. And his wife Faith Hill too.

Kenny Chesney is a big conservative too. Two years ago (in the heat of the campaign when Bush bashing was a sport) I was listening to a Boston area country radio play a word game with Chesney and the chic said, “George Bush or George Clooney?” Chesney flatly said, “Bush. He’s a good man who gets a bad rep.” The radio sidekick was stunned, “reaaaaaallllly?” Hysterical.

I do have to say though Brad Paisley and Tim McGraw both have beautiful families.

Wow, that's good to know, because I knew him and Tim McGraw are great friends. They even own mansions next door to eachother, well they used to, I am not sure if they still do. So any way I never quite knew where he came down in politics. So now I know and it is good news.

McGraw and Hill both are friends of many in Hollywood. McGraw has made statements he would return to his home in order to fun for political office, as a Democrat.

As a friend explained to me about Country music....Country isn't country anymore...in fact...the other day there was an article exposing many of the so-called country singers who fake their southern accent.

Thank goodness I've never cared too much for country music, therefore, I do believe there would have been a tremendous disappointment because the left is duping people into getting money into their coffers anyway they can.

I was a fan of country music for years and Brad Paisley killed it for me with that stupid tick song. I haven’t listened to country since it came out.

Its a shame about Brad. I already knew the drama queen McGraw was a democrat. As long as they keep their yaps shut and don’t promote anyone I will ignore it.

Well, it seems like Fred Jake posted my opinion piece I wrote. I posted it earlier but since it was re-posted by another I figure I might as well ping my list and give you a heads up on it.

It is just a short bit about my opinion of Brad Paisley, Tim McGraw, and their support for liberal causes.

If anyone wants added or removed from my ping list please freep mail me.

I can never understand why Political leanings of entertainers matter to JQPublic.

I don’t watch/listen to them based on their politics.

Could never understand the boycott thingie either.

Thanks for posting this. We do need to support those who support America.

For another perspective, the left has no hesitation about going after and destroying performers whose music criticizes or threatens them. For an example I suggest Freepers look-up Steve Vaus and see what was done back in the 1990s to a wonderfully talented patriot whose career was starting to take-off.

Really? You can't understand it? It's not that you disagree with it, but you just can't understand it at all? You can't understand why some people might want to refrain from giving their money to people who are busy trying to destroy the American way of life? Entertainment is more important to you than any of those little things like principle, culture, or your country? Interesting.

Arghhhh! But Brad’s such a good guitar player. And he uses a G-Bender , as do I. And Dr. Z amps, ditto!

“Brad Paisley killed it for me with that stupid tick song.”

For me, it was “Watermelon Crawl!” And I’m a pedal steel player, and continued to play in Country bands after that song came out. But never listened to the Country radio stations after being bombarded with that song non-stop whilst driving 22 hours straight through to Fla.!

Go along to get along is now the leading philosophy, too many people are afraid of public opinion, and being ostracized by the in group!

If Oprah doesn't like you you're in deep doodoo!

Not at all..what I don’t understand is how a handful of people who decide to boycott one person or another business, think that their boycott will send a message or have some sort of impact....I don’t listen or watch people based on their political leaning...if I were to take on that practice, life would be pretty damn boring.
