ROE: The Real Outrage of Obama’s Afghanistan Strategy

President Obama's decision to name a pullout date from Afghanistan, and to state it publicly has angered anyone who thinks seriously about all aspects of waging war on a fearsome enemy, but Obama's timing decision was not the worst of it.

I trust everyone has been noticing the recent news reports coming from Afghanistan of the increasing numbers of the deaths of American soldiers. Just about everyday we hear of four soldiers killed in ambush or fifteen Americans killed when a position has been overrun. So far, the number of military deaths has doubled this year over last year, and the year has not yet ended. What the mainstream press is not telling us, however, is the real reason for the great increase in American casualties recently: the reason is called, ROE.

The real purpose of the Obamunist ROE: to demoralize our troops AND feed them into a meat grinder. Obamunist scum see our military as the enemy. For this, they should all be speedily tried, convicted and hung for treason.

Listening to Michael Savage Show, with Jeff Kuhner filling in. Talking about Admiral Michael Mullen’s disgraceful, shameful, chicksh*t address to our Marines. I don’t know what my son and his fellow Marines are going to do once they land. Are they going to call over their shoulder “can we shoot now”? I fear for the infantry. WE NEED TO HELP THEM.

If they are going to be tied up and delivered to the enemy, we need to get the Afghan people on their side. How do we do it? And do it fast?

I’ve seen stories on FR that delivering medical help and supplying the people with basic needs for their health and well being will show them we are not trying to destroy innocent lives. It is the Taliban and a few Al Qaeda that are causing the vast majority of the innocent loss of life. We need to do a better job of getting that across. Why is this so impossible? Why isn’t Karzai’s government more aggressive and outraged that the loss of life is not due to our soldiers, but to a cowardly Taliban hiding and using their fellow citizens as human shields.

Victory, and death to the enemy were not spoken from the lips of Obama nor Mullen. Unwavering commitment, and staying the course until Islamic fascism is wiped from the earth was not uttered, or will it ever be by Obama or anyone that answers to him. How do you expect to win a war if your Commander in Chief, and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs’ are not committed to win at all costs? If General George S. Patton were alive today he would have most certainly slapped the admiral where he stood.
