Will the cloture vote drama sink Obamacare?

Did Congress pass Obamacare at 1:00 a.m. this morning? One could be forgiven for thinking so. But one would be wrong. Today's vote was only a cloture vote to shut off debate. But months of vigorous opposition by the American people and a civil war in the Democrat Party has raised the profile of the legislation to unprecedented heights in the public eye. The cloture vote was widely reported to be 'the' vote. To 'Kerry' something is no longer a safe hiding place. If a Senator tries to Kerry this thing by telling his constituents that he 'voted for it before he voted against it,' people will just chuckle and tell him he isn't fooling anyone.

So the cloture vote was a vote for Obamacare.

Think Titanic trying for the speed prize across the North Atlantic. This bill will sink Obama in the end—but its going to take hard work to open the eyes of the sleeping people. Let this monster be Obama/Liberals final Victory before the end.

Aye is right. And what I am saying here is not really directed towards US...that meaning US FREEPERS. We KNOW what's coming. Maybe I should have been a little more clear.

For the average American who is sitting on the fence...barely paying attention to all this...it should give them PAUSE when they think: "What is SO important that an ENTIRE party is willing to commit political suicide over one issue?"

Think about it.We know what the answer is: POWER. The average joe 6 pack needs to think about it. Because in a RATIONAL world...that just doesn't make sense. It doesn't make sense to ruin one's political career and to vote opposite of your constituency...UNLESS YOU HAVE BIGGER PLANS.

And that's my point. This ought to scare people that these guys aren't scared...

And when it comes to amnesty...cap and trade...etc...it REALLY ought to scare people that they don't care what the people say.

Because here is the secret...its not arrogance (OK...it is to an extent...but that isn't the main reason)...its something more sinister.

I know we will, and I am not willing for any to be left behind, BUT, I have my doubts on those Congresscritters who are making our lives miserable, I do not think our Lord will look to kindly on what they are doing by imposing all this misery on HIS children.

Of course it is and the American people have believed a lie and will likely continue to do so. Many are deluded. That does not mean we stop fighting by any means. In fact I think we should stand taller and stronger, but who will lead?
I’m so close to standing on my street with a sign in hand just to make myself feel better...and I do believe there are others who want to do something, question is how and where and when???
