Will Scott Brown kill Obamacare even if he loses in Massachusetts?
Patriot Room ^ | January 13, 2010 | Bill Dupray

If Brown loses by single digits in Massachusetts, one of the bluest of blue states, running explicitly on the promise to be the 41st vote to kill Obamacare, what does that tell Blanche Lincoln? How about Ben Nelson? Evan Bayh? They don't represent Massachusetts. Democrats win there by 20-30 points in the big races. Indeed, Kennedy won his last election in 2006 by a margin of 40 points.

No other Senator whose vote is at issue in the health care debate wins elections by those margins. If Scott Brown can devour a traditional 20-40 point Democrat advantage and lose (if he loses at all) by single digits, every other Democrat who is up for reelection this year and votes for Obamacare will lose. They simply don't have enough padding in their base to lose such a large chunk to their opponents and still have enough left over to win.

The real message is being sent to the members of the HOUSE of Representatives, not so much the Senate. Only 1/3 of the Senators are up for election this year, but 100% of the Congressman always are every two years.

Charlie Rangel was saying as much today when he said how hard it will be to get the 218 votes in the House for ObamaCare. If Brown wins, fear for their jobs will trump any fear of Witch Pelosi in the minds of the Dem-o-Rat House members. The blue dogs will crap all over Speaker Pelosi if they are given half a chance, and a Brown win will give them the perfect opportunity.

If Brown wins, Obama is instantly a lame duck because his agenda is sunk. One year of dissing and excluding even moderate RINO’s will come back to haunt the Messiah. The MSM is asleep at where the real danger to the Dems lie, and that is in the fractured House, not so much the Senate.

I hope so, obamadeathcare will hurt the most vulnerable in our society, simply because they will fall 'outside' government assistance.

Link to hannity interview with Scott Brown...dems want to cut Military's Tri Care health ins.

I know Scott Brown is a RINO, but I like watching all the Dems scramble in their panic. I hope he wins.

Will Scott Brown Kill Obamacare even if he loses?

Answer: No. The Demokazis control the stick, and as such are committed to total success regardless of cost. Watching this is eerily similiar reading about Hitler’s thinking and inner circle conversations concerning Stalingrad. The Demokazis have decided that their sole purpose for being is birthing full out socialism in the US. For them to do otherwise is failure in their eyes. They will bet all on red, damn the consequences.

I think the real question is, what is America saying if Brown is elected? Several answers are possible and likely here. The following reality checks are possible with a Brown win following success in NJ and VA:

1. Man is Limited: Bush didn’t cause all of mankinds problems; flipside: bammy can’t fix all of mankinds problems.

2. Man is Inperfect: The best laid plans of mice and men normally go awry.

3. Man is an Individual not a Collective: The responsibility for ones health, as well as happiness, is in the individuals hands. No program designed by man can make (coerce) men to become healthy, wealthy or wise. Ditto happiness.

4. Small Problems Require Small Fixes: With only 7 million people in need of Health Insurance the problem could easily be fixed through a targeted state plan versus and National plan at a very small fractional cost of what is planned.

5. Takers Sober Up: At some point those receiving free things from their neighbors may realize if there too many takers there will less things to get free. This one is a stretch but is hopefully possible. Even my 9 year old understands there is a limit to free things, so I postulate it is possible that a Democrat could understand this. Lets pray that I am right on this one.

6. The Balloon Pops: The fantasy that bammy was ready and qualified to assume the office of President will dissappear. This will occur when 2 things happen: Democrats run from him in their rhetoric and their votes, and blaming all failures on Bush is met with eye rolling from the electorate and press. If these two metrics are realized then gridlock is possible and our future secure.

I thought that after the vote last month when Reid bought Nelson's vote to get to 60, the Senate Democrats only needed 50 votes for any remaining votes on the health care bill (since Biden can break any tie votes). Is that not so?

Of course it would be good to have Scott Brown as the 41st vote for any future legislation (like cap-and-tax).

Well the question is how many Dems are going to fall on their swords? Its been clear from the get go some folks political careers are ending over this health care crapola.. and some have been willing to take the fall. The question is how MANY.

Many Dems actually dilluded themselves into thinking the people really want this, and its just a few rabble that don’t making a lot of noise. This is largely because this is how THEY operate. They are almost never the majority, but they make a lot of noise.. so they assumed when they saw the right making noise it was the same deal as they use. Guess what folks.. ITS NOT!

The writing was on the wall, the NJ and VA races should have drove it home yet they still clung to the fool notions that the WH, Reid and Pelosi were peddling. The fact this race is even close, begs the simple question... its obvious now health care vote is NOT going to get you re-elected, yoru political career is over unless you are from the bluest of blue states and support. So, knowing this, are you going to continue to support it and accept your political death? Or will you finally wake up?

Some will fall on their swords, the question is how many? Will it be enough?

There are certain things that are going to happen in 2010, 1 REID will not be re-elected to the Senate... Pelosi, even if the Dems hold onto the house (which I doubt) will NOT be re-elected speaker. Hell if momentum keeps moving the way it is, she may actually wind up fighting just to get re-elected (I know political long shot given her district is basically San Fran, but you never know).

Fauxbama presidency will go down as a mesirable failure, and given the nature of how these guys operate, once the uber majority of dems are gone, I suspect impeachment articles may wind up being written, as Dems themselves try to seperate from him as they realize how far he has destroyed their party.

IMHO it is sending a clear chill over the house Dems! if the dems have to defend a seat in the bluest of states what will it be like for those who are in purple areas?

If Brown loses, Obamacare passes.

'Rats are confident that by the time next fall comes round, J6P will be wrapped up in NASCAR, football and "Dancing with the Stars" to bother with any ol' election.

Sad to say I fear they are right.
