In fairness to Senator Scott Brown

In fairness to Senator Scott Brown, I am presenting below an audio file of his appearance on a local Boston radio show. Senator Brown has been widely criticized and even excoriated for his vote Monday. Thanks to Tony for sending me this link.

Listen to the audio here.

This is a message I just sent to Senator Brown:

I just listened to Senator Brown's appearance on Howie Carr, and I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. He should have realized, however, that we've been watching Obama, Reid and Pelosi destroy this country and our children's future with their foolish and mean-spirited ideology. We do not trust anything that they want to do. Neither should you. If "revenue neutral" means the money had already been appropriated, put it back in the treasury.

Well he is not my congress critter. The Lord knows mine are far worse. He should have voted against any further escalation in Government debt. If he is different then he needs to remember to prove it. Continuously.

Anyone who thinks the liberal voters of MA sent the republican Brown to the senate to play with Obama, Reid & Pelosi is off their rocker.

To put it kindly.

He’s only been a Senator for three weeks and think about it-——it could have been Joe “THe Oilman” Kennedy.

The fact that he felt the need to join snowe, collins, and voinovich tells me all I need to know.

To what end? He is making up for the missing Lousenberg.

His office phones are off. Yesterday they were simply off. Today at least I could leave a message.

That was cowardly.

If he wants to show Reid what a good boy he will be, then so be it.

The bill is about MORE SPENDING. Something Brown specifically campaigned against.

It's simply too early...*far* too early...to label Brown as a RINO.He should be judged most on the *big* votes...Husseincare...amnesty,etc.

Don't get too worked up. Pubbies need to reestablish trust with the voters. One way to do this is to stand up for what they say they believe in. Smaller gvmt. Every vote counts. Every dollar counts. Why approve an additional 15B for jobs when there are hundreds of billions of TARP funds available? He needs to remember that the nation is watching. If the pubbies want our votes they must earn them. And that is a day to day assignment. Try siding with patriotic Americans rather than commie front groups. He just flunked a quiz along with the usual suspects. Nothing more.

He is an a**hole.

If you listen to the audio, he said anyone who is criticizing him is basically cluless. We are just robots being forced by special interests to call him.

Screw him.

The GOP needs to embrace being the Party of ‘NO’-no more spending and no more taxes.

The libertarian, “true conservative” majority here at FR are like a roving lynch mob, looking for their latest victim. The victim must clearly wear the GOP label, which is 99% synonymous with RINO.

On the other hand, some are keeping their heads. My favorite Mark Levin quote from yesterday is: “The Republicans are holding down the fort and they deserve reinforcements.”

Right now, the Republicans are all that is standing between the American people and the demise of our Constitution and our Liberties. Therefore, I am not going to be shooting at our own side.

In my opinion, those who do are the equivalent of obama voters, i.e., traitors. The 2nd American Revolution is underway and we are entrenching.

I trust Senator Scott Brown will get the message in time for the final vote on stimulus, socialized medicine, cap and trade, et al.

The one thing that frightens me about Brown is that if he were to become another McLame, another Collins, another Snowe...in other words,a "maverick Republican"....he'd have a Senate gig for life here in the Gay State.I just pray that he's able to resist the temptation and,IMO,only time will tell.

I don’t know what it is, but McCain gets a hold on other senators and they’re done for. Witness the Gang of 14 and the Main Street Republicans. McCain needs to GET OUT.
