Isn’t it interesting that in the two years since it first appeared on the internet, not one single conservative/Republican prosecuting attorney in the nation has launched a forgery investigation or charged anyone with forgery with regard to the internet posting of a copy of Obama’s Certification of Live Birth.
One more time for the Special Ed students with reading for comprehension issues:
From the St. Petersburg Times:
“We e-mailed it (the copy of Obama’s Certification of Live Birth) to the Hawaii Department of Health, which maintains such records, to ask if it was real.
‘It’s a valid Hawaii state birth certificate,’ spokesman Janice Okubo told us.”
Also:
“I, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, director of the Hawaii State Department of Health, have seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawaii State Department of Health verifying Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born American citizen. I have nothing further to add to this statement or my original statement issued in October 2008 over eight months ago.”
The Attorney General of the state of Hawaii, Mark J. Bennett, a Republican approved the statement above which was read by the Director of the state of Hawaii’s Department of Health.
The key words are: SEEN-—ORIGINAL-—BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA-—BORN——HAWAII-—NATURAL BORN-—AMERICAN-—CITIZEN
Additionally:
(1) There have now been 63 adjudications of court cases concerning Obama’s eligibility. Obama is 63-0 in those adjudciations including 7 different rejections of Obama eligibility lawsuits by the US Supreme Court. There is no Obama eligibility lawsuit on the US Supreme Court’s docket for 2010.
(2) It only took any one Senator and any one Representative to challenge the certification of Obama’s Electoral College votes and Congress would have had to hold hearings on his eligibility. No member of Congress out of 535 members objected to Obama’s Electoral votes being certified by Vice President Cheney in his role as President of the Senate.
(3) A House Resolution commemorating the state of Hawaii’s 50th Anniversary of Statehood contained the phrase “birthplace of Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United States.” That resolution was approved 390 to 0 in the House.
(4)The two persons who might have legal standing to sue Barack Obama for being ineligible are John McCain and Sarah Palin because they were DIRECTLY harmed by his inauguration. Neither John McCain nor Sarah Palin has entered any existing suit, nor have they filed suit nor have they submitted a “Friend of the Court” brief in support of any challenge to Obama.
(5)In the Obama eligibility lawsuit of Ankeny et. al. v The Governor of Indiana, Mitch Daniels which challenged Obama’s eligibility to receive Indiana’s Electoral Votes because his father was not a US Citizen, the original trial court and the Indiana Court of Appeals ruled that Barack Hussein Obama is a Natural Born Citizen for Article 2 Section 1 of the US Constitution’s purposes.

That is for the health statistics that are submitted to federal authorities. They are "coded" in accordance with federal categories. The birth certificates that parents recieve for identification purposes aren't under those regulations.
If you look at Hawaiian censuses from territorial days, "races" included Hawaiian, Part-Hawaiian, Caucasian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Negro, Puerto Rican, and Filipino. Given all those possible answers it wouldn't be unheard of for a clerk in Hawaii in 1961 to put down the father's race as "African," all the more so, since there were so few African-Americans in Hawaii at the time. I'm not saying that's what happened, just that such an answer on a birth certificate doesn't automatically make it fraudulent. Hawaii just wasn't as strict about these things as some other states.
That fact alone does make it a forgery but there are several other irregularities of a technical nature.
"Real" and "fake" can be hard to sort out, since the document in question isn't an original 1961 birth certificate, but a more recent computer generated birth certification. So whether it's real or not, it's a copy.
But it's not even that, really. Most of the discussion centers on computer graphics posted online, not on an actual document. And there are probably more than one graphic out there. Some of them are fake. I don't know whether all of them are.
St. Petersburg Times (Politifact) did not receive a copy of Obama’s COLB from HI DOH. They got their copy from Obama’s campaign and e-mailed it to Okubo who actually denied that she could confirm the authenticity of the image of Obama's COLB!

Okubo says she got a copy of her own birth certificate last year and it is identical to the Obama one we received.
And about the copy we e-mailed her for verification? “When we looked at that image you guys sent us, our registrar, he thought he could see pieces of the embossed image through it.”
Still, she acknowledges: “I don't know that it's possible for us to even say beyond a doubt what the image on the site represents.”

The bottom line then is that Politifact has zip.
While their headline and framing is dishonest in creating the impression that they ran Obama’s COLB past HI DOH, they were honest enough deep in their story to admit they really didn't get validation and then even report that Okubo said she couldn't authenticate Obama’s COLB, yet Obot trolls and After-birthers trumpet that HI DOH has validated the COLB.
When Obama’s protection comes off, especially after this November, it will get really ugly for him.
Most Americans who were taken in by him have already concluded that he is a leftist liar, so taking him down on eligibility won't prevent that crucial realization from taking place, as some after-birthers insist.

I fully agree with you there. The push to marginalize people as "birthers" is making a lot of people aware of the issue that had never heard of it before. Upon learning that 0bozo has spent tons of money preventing a copy of his vault BC from being seen most people stop right there and say "Whoa, something stinks here." As you say; they already know he's one heck of a bald-faced liar.
