Heres a first-hand story of the effects of illegal immigration. Both my parents died of cancer. Toward the end of my mothers life, my brothers and I took her to hospitals more times than we care to remember, for life-prolonging procedures until there was nothing more that could be done. During her final month I took her to the local Hospital Emergency Room one night. We arrived at about 10:30 p.m. and found the waiting room literally filled with non-English-speaking Latinos.
None of the people ahead of us appeared to have an emergency or to be in great distress. I put my mother, whose condition was by then so weak that she could sit comfortably for only brief periods of time, into a chair and we waited for our turn. After about one hour, a nurse brought a wheel chair and took my mother in for treatment. She died a few weeks later at home. That was a very long hour and I still recall that evening with anger.
Grover Norquist (pictured above), a self-described conservative and a member of the CPAC Board, has joined...

I’m so glad that Sarah ditch CPAC
Welcome to FR...
I’m sorry that happened to your Mom...
CPAC seems to have lost it’s way, small wonder Sarah P is speaking down in NOLA at a different Conservative leadership meeting.
Looking at your (brief) profile page, I think you will enjoy it here.
Just remember, not everyone is who they appear (or claim) to be. Don't take it paersonally, unless someone makes personal attacks.
Then just 'ping' the Admin Mod. (^:
More and more I think that the ol’ party has hijacked the word conservative, but aren’t conservative at all. I’m really starting to wonder about third parties in some instances; it’s doggone frustrating!
Why didn’t you begin your excerpt at paragraph three, which is the section related to the title? Especially since you wrote the article.
That bit of teaser seems designed to make me click through to give you a hit.
What a surprise! /s
Between CPAC’s going gay and its going open borders, there’s little good reason to go to CPAC anymore.
Yeah, and those ACU ratings republican cheerleaders like to throw around don't mean squat either.
America! We love poverty so much that we import it!
CPAC is dead to me
this year we had
homosexuals who want to undermine traditional marriage and have openly homo service men and women
we have muslims who hate America and Israel
liberterians which are not conservative .
this is no insult to any of you but lets face it you have much more of a different view to us on here
CPAC is dead and i hope a new conference is done for us which are not selling out and calling for bigger tents like we’re a circus.
Besides doesn’t liberterians have their own meetings and site?
welcome to FR as well, nearly forgot
CPAC is dead to me
the RNC will never get my money
I’ll look forward to having my state Freep event and hopefully make it into a move conservative meeting for all of us throughtout the great state of FL
Yes, but they feel compelled to try to infiltrate everyone else's stuff too. Hence, e.g., the way the RonPaulians are trying to hijack the Tea Parties right now.
I’ll see you there in April.
While I agree that the RNC will need to undergo some DRASTIC renovations before I could ever recommend anyone donate money to it, the Republican Party and CPAC are two different entities. Though in the past they often worked in tandem due to ideological similarities, they are not actually affiliated. CPAC is a colloquium that used to be made up of conservative organisation, but is now largely made up of non-conservative ones.
OK I am not trying to have a fight but learn on this as I ma confused
over this last two weeks I have been on homosexual threads and others where a couple of libeterians have been on and their view is so radically different to ours.
I do not understand as to why they come on here and why they go to CPAC, etc.
It makes no sense to me liek Ron paul makes no sense to me on most issues and yet he joins the GOP,
the only reason I can think of is that they cannot get anywhere on their party ticket so they use ours .
Issues like homosexuals marrying etc and their agenda is something where conservatives will never back down as most of toe country will not and yet liberteraisn come on here trying to push their agenda knowing they are not supposed to.
To me none of them make sense if they are not trying to promote their party or have their meetings so maybe someone could explain as why they do it
