LEGAL QUESTION: Is there a procedure to demand proof a US Senator is still alive and maintains the ability to make informed decisions?
Calling all lawyers out there.
Can someone research the question of what happens when the public suspects a sitting US Senator is not able to make informed decisions and is instead being kept in hiding while agents of his party make all decisions for him?
This is, obviously, in regards to Robert Byrd, whose recent statements in support of not only Reconciliation but Cap & Trade are so polar opposite to the positions hes maintained for the hundred years hes been in the Senate that we do not believe hes writing them.
Or even dictating them.
Or aware they are being written.
Or, quite possibly, even still alive.
Whens the last time anyone saw Robert Byrd?
Is there some mechanism of government whereby the people of the United States can demand to see whether or not a sitting Senator is still alive?
Does the public have any recourse in the event a brain-dead, comatose, or otherwise incapacitated Senator is being kept cloistered away so something like Healthcare Rationing can pass whereby Democrat party representatives issues letters supposedly written by the unseen Senator, doing the opposite of what can reasonably be determined to be what the Senator has always done before?
Can we research this and make some noise with it today?
After all the tales of bribery, threatening, menacing, and doing everything possible to pass Healthcare Rationing, we truly do believe Senator Robert Byrd is so severely incapacitated at this point to not even know what day it is, or what his name is, let alone whats being written in his name.
Wouldnt it be a federal crime to operate in Byrds name when Byrd was in some other plane of mental state, unaware of whats going on?
If not, whats to stop Democrats from inducing comas in everyone they want to control, shutting them up somehwere dark and secret, then issuing letters from them saying whatever the DNC wants them to say?
Would you really put it passed these people?
When Byrd votes he must do so in person.
Bump
I have thought the very same thing. I would like to know if Byrd is still alive. And whatever happened to that Johnson guy from SD who had the stroke and was out for about a year. I had read somewhere that he had brain damage. I guess that wouldn’t disqualify him from the Senate, though. As a matter of fact, its a dem requirement.
Either someone is voting "yea" in his stead or he's voting from his hospital bed. Which is it?
The rats will wheelchair the corpses of Byrd and Lautenberg onto the Senate floor if they have to, and use marionette strings to push the bottons.
I believe that was Lautenburg who took the spill.
Neither would be legal. He and he alone may cast a formal vote and it must be done from the well of the Senate.
Dimension X Drudge Headline: Dead Senator Represents the Dead Voters that Got Him There.
Weekend at Byrdies?
He’s listed as not voting on 3/10/10, regarding the unemployment benefits extension bill.
Great photo-post. Will Byrdie dance to Calypso music too?
Cheers,
OLA
Wouldn't surprise me at all...
Thanks, wish I could photo-shop
I think Johnson had a brain aneurysm like Biden did.
I always thought that was why Biden could not control his mouth. He acts like someone with frontal lobe damage.
Actually it was both.
A very good question and one that should have been asked of Ted Kennedy.
That last minute request from his deathbed that Massachusetts should change its law (yet again) to make sure a Republican didn’t get his seat was highly suspicious. Especially when one of the last pics taken of him alive showed him to be, shall we say, less than cognizant of his surroundings.
Wow. He’s even wearing gloves.
They are probably out looking for a young child they can slaughter so they can harvest the organs to keep him alive like they did for Ted Kennedy.
