Okay, the call has gone out once more, troopies, and we must march to the sound of the guns. Saturday, 1200 hours, the Honorable Michele Bachmann (R-MN) is asking that anybody who can get to the U.S. Capitol Building do so in order to make our voices as plainly loud and clear as possible as it relates to so-called health care "reform."
This retired military officer and his wife ("ComNavHouseMidwest") intend to be there and we intend to stay there until we get the attention of the Democrats who think they have an unobstructed field of fire to bring the rain down upon the heads of their own constituents, which is what they'll be doing if they vote 'aye' on ObamaScare.
My own representative is the (Dis)Honorable John Conyers (D-MI) and he serves his downriver constituents with a lack of distinction, so I know he's a lost cause -- if he even has the guts to be in the Capitol area on Saturday. His wife, the disgraced Monica Conyers, was just sentenced to jail for corruption, so I imagine he has other things on his mind.
This is the perfect opportunity to close with the "enemy" and take him (them) in detail, though, with our voices, our opinions and the strength of numbers we possess. I know they (the Democrats) intend to try to pass this bill by hook or crook, but they'll have witnesses to their perfidy and they'll find out in November that actions do, indeed, have consequences.
I hope to see plenty of people there, and it looks like it'll be about 76 degrees F. What a better way to spend the day than to remind our representatives that it's only by our consent that they're allowed to govern at all?
I read that some are wanting to have a candlelight vigil at the Capital on Saturday night.
I’m on it like a hobo on a hot dog. We’re staying to see it through until they make us leave, and they’re going to pay attention us because this isn’t over even if they ram something through on Sunday. I’ve already informed a number of members of Congress that their opponents are going to receive as much in cash donations as I can give throughout the year to make sure that they don’t make it back to the Congress in January, 2011.
