I am helping a friend out for a custody battle he is going through, I am looking for a trusted and reliable source for online background checks.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

How deep you want to go, and how much do you want to pay? Intelius.com seems to do a decent enough job, but you’ll pay for it.
Good place to start.
Online background checks won’t be enough. Recommendation: Contact http://www.fbiaa.org/ and get the name of a local former FBI agent who now works as a private investigator. You’ll be amazed at what these guys can find out...and they make very credible court witnesses.
Just tell him to reconcile his marriage and keep his word to God and they both can keep their kids and to stop being so selfish? Assuming there was a marriage?
What do you do IF the departing spouse already has a new sucker lined up? Mine left and even tho it almost killed me at the time, it was one of the best things that ever happened to me. ;0)
