"For the first time in our nations history, Congress has passed comprehensive health care reform. America waited a hundred years and fought for decades to reach this moment. Tonight, thanks to you, we are finally here...." BO.
REPLY- It is intriguing that you are able to sign your name to such a parody of the Truth. But then your educational background, friends, supporters and dim history speaks volumes more than the throw away political rubbish that you signed your name to.
As a former United States Marine, even just a Reservist due to the unusual but eroding calm then, I KNOW that your statement This struggle became a test of whether the American people could still rally together when the cause was right is wrong. They DIDNT!! It was a phalanx of duplicitous, frightened and venal politicians!! And youre very wrong both about the cause and the Test.
Had you a better grasp of History in general, and Americas in particular you would not have miscalculated on whether the minority Communist agitators and revolutionary criminals who now populate the Democratic Party would carry the day. Rather than glittering falsehoods casually tossed to the People, you would be able to recognize that the fundamental human qualities that produced the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution still exist in most Americans and will not be silenced by the criminals and thugs who are your supporters. Soros and Lewis et al. amongst them!
I would put money on the fact that you and your fellow conspirators will find out. And youll hear SEMPER FI!!! repeated from Coast to Coast as the detritus of your conspiracy is washed away.

Oh, I agree on the blame game. But some of those lines hit pretty hard:
The spirit was freedom & justice
And it is keepers seem generous & kind
It is leaders were supposed to serve the country
But now they won´t pay it no mind
´Cause the people grew fat & got lazy
And now their vote is a meaningless joke
They babble about law & order
But it is all just an echo of what they´ve been told
Yea, theres a monster on the loose
It is got our heads into a noose
And it just sits there watchin´
Our cities have turned into jungles
And corruption is stranglin´ the land
The police force is watching the people
And the people just can´t understand
(America)
America where are you now?
Don´t you care about your sons & daughters?
Don´t you know we need you now
We can not fight alone against the monster.
*************************************************
Oh. And America is still here. And we will fight this thing.
they wildly and repeatedly yelled, Yes, we can
Vaguely similiar to “Sieg Heil!”
Or at least it is heading in that direction.
Exactly. I worry about anyone saying -”I am a former Marine. Once a Marine always a Marine.”
Here is the big picture. Obama and his czars control Wallstreet, the big banks,AIG(was perhaps the largest insurer with all it’s holdings), GM, Chrysler, and now healthcare.
Now, that packs a wallup. You tell a Congressman to vote my way or we move the plant/office/etc.
The mafia only dreamed of this power and never were elected.
A sad, but telling parallel, indeed.
Rebel, one southern to another, please don’t call me sir, I work for a living. Thanks.
"... please dont call me sir, I work for a living."
ROTFLMAO - my apologies.
I just had a similar conversation with Rembrandt via FRmail. His FRmail said he'd never been a Sir, so I assumed he was female and replied accordingly. Then I read his Home page and realized I had 'stepped in it' again, so I sent him another apology. Talk about 'hoof-n-mouth' disease, LOL.
Having never had the honor of serving, I forgot about the military use of 'Sir' only for officers (and that non-coms are sometimes insulted by it being used for them). I am aware of the proper use, but I do occasionally have one of those 'duh, hold mah beer' moments. (Those seem to be coming more and more often and if they start catching up with my grey hair, I'll be in REAL trouble, LOL.)
I was raised to respect my elders (everyone, actually) and always use the terms of ma'am and sir when addressing my elders and other adults. Children were to be seen, not heard, but treated with love, dignity, and discipline when needed. Now-a-days, I still use ma'am and sir when I want to convey that respect - old habits die hard.
So, once again, Mea Culpa and my apologies. I respect and honor all our service men and women. Thank God for all those who 'Stand the Wall' now, those who have done so in the past, and those who will do so in the future. Would that I could.
