Ignoring immigration and its impact on the sad state of California is the problem. Any GOP candidate who “treads lightly” on the subject should be defeated. CA should look to AZ to see what a state can do to rein in illegal immigration.

A lot of Mexicans coming over these days are middle-class.

They seem to expect everything the earlier illegals got,without having to actually do any of the work.

That is by the way the most logical conclusion of illegal immigration I’ve ever seen.
