A special report on militia groups and gun owners who support Second Amendment rights and the Constitutional concept of citizen militias is scheduled to be aired on a major news outlet this Thursday evening. The report has all the markings of a smear job due to the fact that its main source of information is the leftwing front group, the Southern Poverty Law Center.
In a series of ads announcing the upcoming report, News Channel 7, WSPA-TV, which serves one of the top 30 television markets in America, states that 'militia groups are growing and they are even right here in the upstate.'
At that point the ad cuts to Mark Potok, the discredited lawyer and spokesman for the Southern Poverty Law Center's 'intelligence report.'
Potok proceeds to state that 'militias are the source for much of the criminal activity in America today.'

All these militia groups and second amendment defenders are beginning to scare me. I may have to go buy a gun for protection. Protection against union thugs in Flint, MI; protection against violent mobs protesting in AZ and protection against walking in Chicago, that is.
Hmmmmm, I’m beginning to think that the Southern Poverty Law Center is a left wing hate organization causing seditious acts and hate crimes. They sure are stirring up trouble.

That's a good idea. And what with the Tea Parties on the rise I recommend buying at least one gun a month and thousands of rounds of ammunition. This is a dangerous world.
Every time we talk about stocking up on ammo causes the liberals to get their undies all tied up in knots...scares the pencil-necks beyond belief! Buy lots of guns and ammo and tell every liberal you know why...watch their reaction...

They even had their own militias in the War of 1812 because the regular militia and US Army were down with smallpox or overtaxed by the marauding Canadian Native allies of the British.
Militias are older than the Constitution- That`s why the militia is in the Constitution-
The Dutch had militias in Albany, NY and other small settlements from 1645 thru 1665 under British to 1753 `til French and Indian War.

The Southern Poverty Law Center is a hate group, pure and simple.

I live in western New York State: to the west of us is Niagara Falls and Buffalo which have Islamic Terrorists camps; and south of me in the Catskills there are Islamic Terrorists who practice on their gun ranges everyday so that the neighbors complain about the noise.
Now, I ask you. Should I be concerned about militias which remind me of the Revolutionary Days of my country or about Islamic Terrorists who are “poaching” on our land?
