Sarah Palin = Libertarian = Tea Party = Ron Paul = Rand Paul

Etc., etc., as I have been saying for a while now.

Palin has come out of the libertarian closet.

Palin has come out of the libertarian closet.

How can that be when certain individuals on this forum have labeled her as the "Queen of the RINOs"?

That’s an interesting critique. How so? What positions does Palin hold that are libertarian, but not also conservative?

Libertarians believe in open borders and a weak military.

Palin doesn't believe in these.

Perhaps the ones that claim she is a libertarian (based on one endorsement) and the ones that claim she is a moderate (based on two endorsements) can debate the point...and leave the rest of us to enjoy the fine weekend.

It doesn’t matter to me what she thinks, tweets, etc.
It matters to her fans. Many of them have steadfastly denied she has any libertarian connections, but it’s becoming more and more obvious.

Sarah stated in the interview she believes is the republican platform but also enjoys her independence.

Sarah pretty much disagrees with Paul on foreign policy. Sarah can out very strong for Israel.

Palim seems to be somewhere between a liberatarian, a RINO and a conservative. The supporters for each cause are scurrying like little ants. LOL

Believe whatever you want. I am chuckling out loud. COL!

Palin has always had Libertarian views tempered with social and foreign conservatism just like Reagan.

she believes the best way to get more freedom and liberty is to adhere to the platform and planks of the REP party. a platform and planks that most of the GOP elite have forgotten.

She differs with Libertarians on such things as alliances, Israel and the role of government on things like the drug war etc.

but Ron Paul will most likely agree with her 80% of the time.

Palin is a much better chance of winning in the general because of this.

or in other words Palin is right where Reagan was on most issues. Palin is and has always been a disciple of Reagan.

Palin has strong core principles, but comes across as an intellectual lightweight.

anyone else having trouble with the audio?

Seems like we have some problems on FR with labels. One can be libertarian, without being a Libertarian (or a libertine, or an anarchist). Reagan was the most libertarian President of my lifetime (by FAR), but he was by no means a Libertarian. Any conservative that believes in limited government (which should be redundant, but isn’t) has some libertarian inclinations.

“Palin is a much better chance of winning in the general because of this.”

IOW, covering all the bases and the views, leaving questions as to her convictions... like a seasoned but shallow politician.

One thing, though, she has proven she cannot take the heat. She quit.

The right wing taliban are are just as delusional and some of those on the left.

Sarah, ron paul, and others are good on 80 percent of the issues yet some want to cast them off.

Its utterly ridiculous, immature, and the sure fire way to have barry for 8 years.
