Our President defends the double standard: Bush playing golf, bad for nation, Obama playing golf, good for nation. While paying close attention to his putter, actually he never takes his eye off his putter except to drive, our President is quick to point out that not all his time is devoted to golf; last week he attended a Washington Nationals game and three weeks before that he hosted a concert by Paul McCartney.
White House spokesman Bill Burton feels Obama needs time alone with his putter and feels that everyone in the country thinks the President needs putter time, he doesn't...
“think that there’s a person in this country that doesn’t think that their president ought to have a little time to clear his mind.”
Even brilliant intellectuals feel taxed when they must come up with solutions one right after another, like figuring windmills will be the answer to the Gulf Oil Spill, sheer genius at work on overtime.
Bill Burton was quick to point out Obama's recent achievements:
“And so after a week where the president was taking on the oil spill, got an historic agreement with BP to put aside $20 billion to pay claims; after a day on Friday when he strengthened lobby and ethics rules in the White House; after going to Ohio to talk about the economy and see the progress that’s being made and some of those stimulus projects that are happening around the country — all the different issues that the president is dealing with, I think that a little time to himself on Father’s Day weekend probably does us all good as American citizens that our president is taking that time,” Burton said.
You would think he could spend Father's Day with his kids; but this presidency is about him and obviously his kids are about him also.
The illustrious leader of the Republican Party, Michael Steele, issued an Affirmative Action type condemnation of the president's preoccupation with golf and mentioned the CEO of BP attending a yacht race.

I may be the only one, but I see his diversion from grown-up matters to be a good thing.
Do you really want him right in the middle of this, displaying his competence? Do you want him down in the gulf, hindering work with motorcades, media & security?

,,, here's a great replacement for Obummer as it's revealed that the Presidency is actually all about golf. This guy has actually achieved something in his life. Also, he has the Klintonesque track record with women; will keep voters happy who vote specifically on race and one particularly important point - he'll be able to produce a birth certificate.
