“...a white Chevy stakebed truck driven by Mundo, police said”
Were any rolls of sod injured in this crash?
It sure does sound like the bike riders were at fault. I guess you could say, if the guy hadn’t been here illegally, then he wouldn’t have been in the road for the reckless bike rider to hit and be killed.
Detained?
Dats racest!
Sounds to me like you didn’t read the article. The truck was backing up into the lane they were riding in. How does that make it the bike riders fault? Sounds like the truck driver to me. Plus, as you sarcastically said, speaking the truth even though you thought you weren’t, if the illegal wasn’t here the bike rider would still be alive.
Gee, I wonder why the cops haven’t charged him if he’s so guilty? Another thing we don’t know. If the illegal hadn’t been there, then maybe these speeding bike riders might have careened into the path of a semi whose driver, in an attempt to avoid hitting them, swerved his truck into the path of oncoming vehicle killing a baby and her puppy.
I think the puppy would have lived.
Ping!
I am acquainted with the cousin of the deceased biker. The family is devastated at the loss of their son, who was an experienced cycler.
