Biden knows very well that his Democrats were the very people who were teaching everybody in the country to portray the President as a chimpanzee.
So far Republicans have not succumbed to the bait ~
Joe waits ~ he's a patient man ~ he imagines Republicans are just like Democrats, albeit without tails.

We have no problem with the Tea Party. We have a problem with the Tea Party tolerating racists in their ranks, NAACP president Benjamin Todd Jealous said.Yeah right you lying sack of sh*t.
But this is attention-getting for a more important reason. This is the first example of backpedaling, from this or any other similar race-pimping organization, that I have ever seen or heard.
Something is happening. There must be a rather large ominous shadow gliding silently under the ice...

Since stupid Joe wants to talk about this, lets see how willing he is to talk about voter intimidation that actually matters.

He noticed when the NAACP got hammered last week for its stupid attack and, for once in his life, Joe made a smart decision to take a detour around this tar-baby of an issue.
This speaks volumes about the score between the Tea Parties and those who oppose them.
The Tea Parties are beginning to gain some real momentum!

"...the NAACP is not condemning the entire Tea Party, but wants the Tea Party to publicly disavow the racists on its periphery..." This is similar to the old trap question, "Do you still beat your wife?"
For the Tea Parties to disavow the alleged racists in their midst, would be to admit to the underlying and unspoken charge that the Tea Parties are essentially racist in nature.
To not disavow the alleged racists in their midst, can be (and will be) seen as an admission of guilt by association, and a tacit support of white racists.
It doesn't seem to matter that there's been no evidence presented to substantiate the charge that the Tea Parties have white racists on their periphery.
I see that the article mentions some examples of racist signs carried by Tea Party protesters posted on the NAACP website. Well, I'm not going to give the NAACP the dignity of a visit, but I'll posit that what they posted is pretty thin gruel, and not clear evidence of racism.
What's stunning about this whole story is the stark hypocrisy of an organization that is race-based, calling a loosely confederated political protest movement "racist", on the slimmest of evidence.
Is the NAACP going to disavow the racists who they're closely connected to, such as the New Black Panther Party, or the Nation of Islam?
I highly doubt it.
Is anyone in the press going to call them out on that hypocrisy?
Nope.
