The American Family Association, whose purpose is to “represent and stand for traditional family values,” has recently announced a formal boycott of the nationwide retailer Home Depot for its proud display and continued support for the homosexual agenda. The family group encourages individuals who support the traditional family structure to shop at alternate retailers and has even renamed the retail giant, “The Homosexual Depot.”

How about a boycott because they never have what I need?

How about a boycott because they never have enough checkers?...Ever try to do an “in and out” on any Saturday?

I have been only shopping at Lowe’s since I read about their Gay Celebration support recently.

I’ve found Lowe’s to be better anyway. More of what I want, and better prices.

Menards, definitely. Our Lowes tries to attract customers who don’t speak English, i.e. illegals. Ef `em.

One of the most bureaucratic messes I’ve seen. Luckily I don’t need to venture into hardware stores often. I avoid businesses that do stupid things like mix marketing with politics unless of course it is a pro-American stance which I don’t consider political but something that should be a given. I don’t want to buy in to radical environmentalism or the homosexual agenda so I don’t.

And what's with the faux British accent on the voice at the automated check-outs? Good ole' U.S. accent isn't good enough?

Ditto. I try to shop my local lumber yard/hardware store first. Then I try Lowes. Only go to Home Depot if I have no other place to go.

It is amazing to me that any business entity would publicly involve itself with any political issue—let alone the hot button of homsexuality. Didn’t Mariott come out publicly to support the Gay Community? And, then, of course, there is Disney. Walt must be turning in his grave.

I eshew them all.

The illegal ‘day laborers’ are all over the parking lot every morning at the local Homo Depot......

Loaded question for those gays who frequent Home Depot

The following is something that should be tattooed in big block letters backwards on the foreheads of every Democrat, so they can read it every morning in the bathroom mirror:

What do you get when you reward bad behavior?
(And across their chests*)

I have no idea what you’re talking about, and the excerpt is of absolutely, positively no value.

But instead of the bunny/pancake, I’ll just suggest that you consider that, when trying to publicize a cause or other, you actually publicize it by posting it.

You have an audience here of over 100,000 for your cause, whatever its merits, and you tease it instead of display it.

Strange.

Unless blog hits are worth more to you than the cause....

Guess I’ll buy my hardware and home improvement supplies at OSH and Lowe’s from now on. It doesn’t hurt that both are closer to my house than Homo Depot.

But you can’t buy that great Behr paint at Lowes. It is the only reason I ever go into Home Depot.
