If I thought it would keep New York safer, I'd let ‘em build 50 mosques. Unfortunately, they kill each other with glee and abandon as well as infidels. When our Muslim brothers and sisters can manage peace for themselves, I say this is a country that recognizes all men and women of good will. Until then, I'd just as soon let them all remain WAY OVER THERE on the other side of the Atlantic. They can come visit, but they need return home — no visits longer than two weeks. After all, there's nothing and no one in our society that should be of interest to them.

Good luck getting anyone to work on this abomination - even if they get a foreign company, where are the workers going to come from?
Local union Ironworkers? Don't think so.
Local union truckers? Riggers? No and no.

Is there room for a nice gun club, munitions storage, or fertillizer factory next to the mosque? Better yet, get agricultural zoning and put in a pig farm, hopefully upwind.

Back in World War 2, the British had a nasty habit of letting the Germans finish building plants ... THEN they would bomb them.
