I have to admit I didn't watch any of DTWS but did some video footage and just saw that she finished 3rd.
Here we have a 20 year old facing the all the hatred from the media including death threats made to intimidate her but she stood up to this worked her butt off and performed in front of millions of people like a champ.
Imagine if we had politicians in the Republican party that had half as much courage to oppose these leftists who are destroying our country?
She went into the "belly of the beast" Hollywood and had all the liberal bloggers wetting their pants over this, all I have to say Bristol Bravo!!!!
She was told to sit down and shut up and she said hell no I am going out to kick some tail!!!!
God bless you and your family, America is behind you no matter what the media wants you to think they are the minority with megaphones.
So Bristol won the popular vote, but they decided to give the win to the “Pro.”
We shouldn’t consider coming in 3rd in the finals ‘losing.’ Do we consider an Olympic bronze medalist a loser?
She gets 10’s across the board, not for her dancing, but for just doing it and taking all the slings and arrows. You’re a chip of the not so old blocks, that’s for sure.
I don’t normally watch this show, but the GF DvR’s it, and ends up going through an entire show in about 20 minutes tops. But from what i saw of Bristol, she did well.
Kudos to you Bristol the Pistol: you met the challenge head on, and did your best!
She did fantastic! Everyone on the show except Bristol had some kind of ‘entertainment’ experience. I believe that Jennifer was the best. I haven’t seen it yet. Am taping it so I can fast forward through all but the dances :)
Bristol is a perfect example for anyone who needs shot of determination and achievement against all odds!
Too bad they don’t have a most improvement trophy. That could even be won by someone voted off earlier in a season, but it would have to be the judges who decided that.

I felt that I needed to post this because I feel we can all learn from her spirit of not to giving into fear and threats from the left.
This is the only attitude that will save this nation and a 20 year old women showed us how its done through hard work, thick skin and determination.
No surprise, just as I had predicted on the other thread. They have to keep the Liberal sponsors happy. Bristol was great for their ratings and once she was no longer useful it was over. I guess the anticipated stock gain in electronic stocks have dropped as there will be no rush for replacement TVs. 3rd place has saved many Liberal TV sets from being smashed. Wait till the View is on, I’m sure Behar will be in a happy mood this a.m..

I don’t know who said she lost, but I am on the west coast also and there’s no way she lost. The show is still on, they are still dancing and voting will be open until, I don’t know when, maybe in the finals only 1/2 after, but they can’t pick a winner until it is over here since we get to vote also.
Duh, I actually was going to tape it, wasn’t even thinking when I saw that. No one has won or lost yet.
Not yet, if you mean you bet on Bristol. The show is NOT over. It’s still on as far as I know, they can’t pick a winner until the west coast gets to vote.

Sorry, I guess you did. This is the first season I’ve watched, and I guess there’s no voting on the final? I can’t find anything. But it seems strange that they would give out the winners before the show is over out here. They must lose a lot of viewers

Bristol did show guts, determination and grace in taking on the challenge, and in the way she handled herself throughout the competition.
As for telling people to sit down and shut up, that occurrs every day here on FR if someone happens to post an opinion even mildly contrary to the consensus on any given thread.
Not a great dancer, but neither was Debbie Reynolds in “Singing in the Rain.” (Rita Morena should have gotten that gig.) IAC. Reynolds worked her butt off so that she wouldn’t look bad dancing besides two dancers of such great ability as O’Connor and Kelly. Bristol did not disgrace herself, despite what others say. Her partner helped a lot.
Bristol started from zero, almost.And she certainly is a lot more likeable than Grey.
She was a great dancer tonight and she should not have gotten any 8’s!

On the bright side, I look at the following:
1) She came off as a composed, classy, genuine, sincere and graceful young lady, contrary to the image the left wanted to paint her with.
2) She dealt the death threats of the leftist crazies and still stood tall and performed. This likely made the lefties even more crazy, being shown as impotent in their mouth-frothing anger towards her.
3) She scored a major victory in her progress throughout the show and getting as far as she did. This was "enemy territory" - Hollywood Elitist Land. She won America's heart with her performance and proved that by enduring as long as she did.
Her victory her didn't require a "first place" award. The "win" here will be apparent long after the show is over. : )
