Yesterday Judge Miles-LaGrange went against the will of the people, and blocked the certification of the Sharia ban. Besides doing that she has also shown us just how uninformed on the issue she is. She has blinded accepted what the Council on American Islamic Relations has told her. From the Court documents.
Furthermore, plaintiff has presented testimony that Sharia Law is not actually law, but is religious traditions that provide guidance to plaintiff and other Muslims regarding the exercise of their faith. Plaintiff has presented testimony that the obligations that Sharia Law imposes are not legal obligations but are obligations of a personal and private nature dictated by faith.

Or, as a woman, will she be in attendance to the first stoning of a woman who “incited rape” in Oklahoma?
She’s right.
Sharia is not law in the Western Juriprudence tradition but a body of theological imperatives that by imposing constraints and demands on individual behavior lead to judgement by theologians and critics when those divine diktats are transgressed by individuals.
But I doubt she understands the full implications of what she’s doing. The details of Islamic History are fairly unknown to most.
Sharia by Larry, Curly and Moe. Slowly we turn, step by step and inch by inch.
And I fear when this case hits the Supreme Court.
In a flash, Sharia could be vindicated and endorsed for US.
A)It was yesterday, on November 8th the judge issued a temporary restraining order. Yesterday blocked the certification of the law. So it was YESTERDAY. Next time know what you are talking about.
B)Back up your claim that I have posted each one of these stories more than once.
C)My site has more information on this issue than any MSM site out there. If you don’t like it, just don’t click through. It is that simple.
D)This is a time when conservatives are supposed to be uniting, but childishly you and a few others here think attacking me is more important. Grow up.
Hey Swarthy,
She said Sharia does not have a legal aspect to it. Which means she is way off.
“Based upon this testimony, the Court finds that plaintiff has shown Sharia Law lacks a legal character....”
Well, I’m certainly not a legally trained mind, expert in hairsplitting and flipping logic on its head, but if Sharia is not a set of laws, then what is it?
Theological. Not civil, but essentially an Mohammadan Code of Conduct.
And that should give the opponents of this a cudgel to beat this down.
Live by the theology as an individual but in America we do not impose theological practices upon citizens.
Hence, Sharia should not be forced into our legal procedures.
In the upside down far leftist world, who knows.
When we first spoke you said we might lose this war. Unfortunately you could be correct.
Get a life, blog pimp.
Lol! What do you bring to the plate on this issue?
Thanks for showing the readers just how intelligent, and immature you are. I do not charge anyone to read the site, and I do not live with my mother. So once again, know what you are talking about before you make such comments. Just like Humble Gunner you obviously have some sick obsession with me personally. That is if you two are not the same person. Obviously you missed all of the articles that I have written.
I ask you again. What is it that you bring to the table on this issue?
At least these judges are consistent; they don’t regard the Constitution as “law” either.
Hey Islaminaction, just want to say thanks for all your good work and for keeping the very important issue of Islamic expansion in the forefront here on FR. I always look forward to your posts and appreciate the effort you put into it. There are few issues in the world today that are as frighteningly serious as this one, and you’re doing a great service by keeping us informed. Thanks!
Imagine the absurdity of a judge, in a nation whose founding documents are based upon notions of ‘natural law,’ declaring that Sharia law isn’t ‘law,’ while at the same time recognizing foreign ‘law,’ which itself recognizes Sharia as ‘law.’
You’re welcome FRiend. :)
