I’m not worried about Barry’s re-election. When the US dollar is dumped as the world reserve currency in the next few weeks the resultant hyper-inflation and food riots will end his chances.

It is my take that a Bloomberg candicacy would hurt Obambi more than the GOP standard bearer.
Seriously, how much of the GOP outside of New York would flock to his candidacy? But maybe it would give "respectable" liberals an excuse to vote against Obama without having to vote for the GOP standard bearer.

Perhaps Bloomberg is counting on his Muslim base to support him as thanks for his supporting the Ground Zero Mosque. Ya think?

Mr Grassley and friends have already advanced that goal way down the field. From a zero change of reelection it is now better than fifty fifty he is reelected.

If he can't handle the job without calling in an impeached has-been then why would anyone even consider re-electing him?

News Flash: Hillary Clinton and Robert Gates will be the Democrat ticket in 2012, not Zero Obama and Plugs Biden.

There are no whispers and rumors on this. These clowns are right out in the open on this third party movement.

Mr. McConnell is very sure of himself. But he's a lot more wrong than right.
Just as an example: Will liberals really take another shellacking in '12? Possibly. Or maybe not. It depends on what happens over the next several months.
The Dems are already painting the House Republicans as stupid and irresponsible, with no discernable response from the GOP. The Republican majority in the House will be negated by the Democrat majority in the Senate, and the Democrat in the WH. The Republicans will never get anything big passed in that environment, and in the battles that will ensue the Senate, WH, and their allies in the Media will be working hard to make the GOP look bad in every battle.
Barring a major financial collapse, I think the liberals will probably break even in '12.

Barry is a one term catastrophe. His only chance of stopping his administration’s collision with reality was a Republican House and Senate. He didn’t get it. Not even his teleprompter can save him.

They’ll run Romney and possibly McCain again to pollute the primaries once more. I just wonder what token Conservatives they will get to run to split the vote.

Perhaps Bloomberg is counting on his Muslim base to support him as thanks for his supporting the Ground Zero Mosque. Maybe I'm not too up-to-date on this, but I've never heard much talk about Muslims as a significant voting bloc in NYC. In addition, Bloomberg has three more years to go in his third term, and he had to bend the law to achieve that third term. At present, it would seem unlikely that he'd be running for a fourth, so electoral support of the NYC Muslims doesn't seem to be a factor here.
Possibly it's more a matter of "making nice" to the Muslims in hopes that they might be deterred from more terrorist acts in NYC.

If anyone is thinking about Bloomberg as third party candidate for president in ‘12 to boost the ‘Rats’ chances, forget about it. He'd siphon off more votes from the ‘Rats than from the GOP, because, regardless of what he may label himself, he's always been a ‘Rat and has governed in NYC as a ‘Rat.

Maybe it was bound to happen. The two major sides have been drawing farther apart, leaving a gaping hole in the middle.

Hey! I can make up crap as well as the next guy.
Though if the dollar gets replaced we are in for a world of hurt. Just like happened to Britain when the pound got replaced by the dollar.
