Shortly after noon Scott K. Walker (R) was sworn in as Wisconsin's 45th Governor. His ascendancy has an immediate impact as Wisconsin will now join a mulit-state lawsuit to block the implementation of federal health legislation. In this reposrt from Madison, MacIver News Service's Bill Osmulski speaks with Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen on the significance of the lawsuit. Former Governor Jim Doyle rejected Van Hollen's earlier request to join the suit in 2010.
Thank you Wisconsin
Indeed!
Add to that number of States those that have a Republican governor, who can also join this lawsuit, even with a divided legislature, and weirdly enough, some Democrat States as well.
Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Indiana, Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, Florida, and now Wisconsin.
Republican dominated States that have NOT yet joined: Montana, Wyoming, Minnesota, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Ohio, Tennessee, North Carolina, Maine and New Hampshire.
Ouch, that’s GOTTA hurt Obama and his legion of sycophants.
Especially in Madison (the Berkeley of the Midwest)
What I absolutely love about this. They did it on the very day that Scott Walker was sworn in as Governor. How sweet to see republicans doing an in-your-face.
Next: Concealed carry and voter ID.
