Hello Couponeers!

Today we shall learn that you can NEVER stop learning about effective couponing. Just when you THINK you might know all there is to know about coupons, whole new previously undiscovered worlds can open up to you. And in the case of The Coupon Whisperer the world of PDS file coupons opened up for me last night.

You see, I have been operating under the assumption that you can only print out only a couple of coupons of a particular type from the Web. In most cases that is true. However, as I learned last night there is a BIG exception to this rule.

So I was working the register rewards at Walgreens, bought the 3 soaps for $18 to get $6 reg rewards. I got a military discount of 15%, but then no reg reward. Maybe I should have had a filler so the total price still came to $18? Where did I go wrong Master?

You needed not another filler but another soap to bring to over $18.

Recent deals:

Bought 18 pack Millar Genuine Draft(or Lite or High Life)
get $5.00 of two Digorno Pizzas. Also, used $1.00/two q off the Pizza’s.

REMEMBER CVS will give RAIN CHECKS on their Extra Care Bucks deals if they are out. I took rainchecks on Digorno Pizzas(buy 1 get 1 free)plus q above , Tilex(2 for $4)less printable $1q and Crest mouthwash that was free after ECB.

You can print the list out, plus add manufacturers coupons on top of that when you shop. I check them off as I go down the isle. I got a ProGlide Fusion razor for $1.89 yesterday, $4 from ecoupon $4 from paper. I bought the non battery type as it has an additional blade instead of the battery. I can’t believe it’s not butter for .49 with ecoupon and manufacture coupon. Large size Crest Prohealth Mouthwash $1.49, $2.00 ecoupon, $2.00 manufacturer coupon.

Coupons and flyers are the only thing the Sunday fishwrapper is good for.

Plus I bought 20 items of the get $5.00 back that saved an additional $10. And I am now stocked up on veggies, canned tomatoes, and Kraft Mac & Cheese items at half the normal cost for 3-4 months. Most of the items were .49 to $1.29 cents.

Receipt says I saved $44.59—58%...final total was $35.88. One more trip and I’ll have enough points for 10 cents off on gas again...got that yesterday when I filled up.

Penny’s is supposedly having their ‘final’ 80% off items sale. Good time for T-shirt replacements.

I got a sneak peak on Red Plum insert for this coming Sunday. It stated that Marcal would be $1 on paper towels and TP. I can usually find sales where those same items are only a buck so FREE. However, Red Plum is regional so your local RP might not have that coupon. If it does, will grab about 20 of those coupons and use ten each on paper towels and TP 4-packs. However, I already have about a 3 month supply of these paper products so no big tragedy if it doesn’t appear locally.

OK thanks.
BTW, I did get $5 reg rewards for a Venus Razor and refills. I had a $3 coupon for the refills and got $6 reg rewards. Applied that the the 3 soaps for $18, with Military discount and got them for $10.xx. Not bad for my first try working the system.
Thanks, I would otherwise not have tried Walgreens :)

FWIW, here’s what I did today...

Spent $13.22(inc.71 tax) and $6 RR. So $19.22.

Bought the Icy Hot, Arnicare, Advil products and the Proglide razor. Also got a couple cans of corn as fillers and a Mountain Dew, because I wanted one. This all got me $18.00 in RRs. So leaving out the Dew, I can repeat this as much as I want, no more oop.

Aw geez, I can’t keep doing the same deal using the same RRs, can I? Have to find some ping pong deal.

I did some Arnicare deals today. At one place I was able to use the $2 printout. At another Walgreens they said I could only use the $1.50 coupon in the box. The ULTIMATE problem with the Arnicare is that most Walgreens seem to be OUT of them. Therefore did some Ping-Ponging at end of the day between buying two bottles of 50ct Advil and using the $5 RR PLUS the $10 coupon in Diabetes & You magazine to score FREE Neuragena PN gel which generated $10 RR which I used to buy 2 more bottles of Advil again. For the fillers I got bottled water which was selling for only 25 cents per bottle at the Walgreens I was at. I really do need those water bottles.

Oh, and also used a great Quiznos online coupon to get a terrific small prime rib sandwish for just $2.99. I'm not crazy about Subways but Quiznos I really like.

I’ll have to see if I can’t find the Neuragena q. Up here, we have a Blink eye wash deal 7.99 -7.99 RR. Your 10 and my 8 gets me exactly what I need. Also can get 10RR from Nyquill but I’m running out of q’s.

So far the best deal seems to be Neuragena PN this week. Keep in mind the regular retail price is $29.99 but this week it is selling for $14.99. Then deduct the $10 coupon from Diabetes & You (also found in the smaller Spanish version) and that brings it down to just $4.99. Then use the $5 RRs generated from buying two Advils (which cost me basically nothing since I used the $10 Neuragena PN RR on them) and you get the Neuragena FREE PLUS $10 RR which you Ping-Pong back to the Advil again.

Keep in mind that there are two versions of this Neuragena PN. One is liquid and the other is gel. People in the know told me the gel is much better. Comes in a smaller box but the weight is actually more than the liquid version.

The GOOD NEWS is that the Neuragena deal is good all month. Not sure about the Advil deal but would like to see that continue as well. Looking forward next week to the Ocean Spray deal which is $3 with $2 RR. I’ve sort of gotten addicted to drinking cranberry juice and one of their great flavors is Cranberry Pomegranate.
