I have a similar neighbor. They have several grandchildren who love the new baby kittens twice a year. I try to ignore it because I cannot save them all. One child usually finds a puppy every year. The pup is fun until it grows up. A few years back, I asked the little girl about her dog. She said that it was taken to the pound.
