It is one thing for a doctor not to perform a procedure on religious grounds, because a patient is bound to find someone who will. But we don’t want to government picking and choosing legal procedures, whether we agree with them or not. I don’t like abortion, but I agree with the dems on this.

I do not believe that abortion-for-convenience should be classed as a strictly medical procedure, anymore than I think Sharia removal of a hand for stealing is strictly a medical procedure.

I object to being forced to pay for the murder of innocents.

Medical procedures.. and it is a funding issue. Not a taxpayers (government) responsibility. Defund Ocare and it is a moot point anyway.

It’s legal to get a face lift but my insurance won’t pay for that either. Only medically necessary surgeries and abortion is not one of them.

Did you miss that part? It’s a valid argument.
