Do you realize that most Tea Party members and followers have to work for a living?

Do you realize the socialists and communists are making an all out assault on the Constitution and rule of law with the constant protests? Do you understand you will lose your Constitutional freedoms and everything you have worked for if you are not willing to make sacrifices to stop the socialist/marxist push? Is it really such a major sacrifice to take time off from work to defend the Constitution against those who seek to destroy your way of life?

I understand what you are saying and certainly preserving the liberty we have inherited from our forefathers is worth whatever sacrifice it takes to do that. It's just hard to throw away what you have built up over a lifetime and hope to pass on to your progeny. Yes, I know the Patriots pledged their lives, fortunes, and sacred honors for a cause greater than themselves, and there may come a time when we will be called upon to do no less, but, right now, it would be very difficult for me to manage the time off work that the liberal leeches manage to find on a routine basis, simply because they live off of others and not the fruit of their own labors.

Planning ahead may make it happen. I was able to make a few FReeps after the 2000 election by scheduling a few vacation days to coincide with those events.

It’s quite true that America’s forefathers were largely lucky enough to have wealth they could expend on their mission of national emancipation — when they pledged their fortunes that meant they had fortunes to pledge.

However, I salute every Tea Partier who is willing and able to treat this at least as seriously as a moonlighting job.

Everything you've built up over the years is incrementally being stolen from you by the socialists/communists. You won't have anything to pass on to your progeny if you and the rest of us aren't willing to make some sacrifices now to preserve our way of life in the future by stopping the socialists/communists now!

They pledged their lives and some went broke.

As do I!
