Here's an update on the progress of an anti high capacity gun magazine Connecticut Bill.
The Senate Judiciary Committee has set a Public Hearing on March 23rd, 2011 in Hartford for testimony to be taken on a bill in the Connecticut General Assembly that would not only ban ownership and possession of firearm magazines with a capacity of over ten rounds, but it also requires confiscation of them within 90 days of the bill becoming law.
There will be no grandfathering of ownership of these magazines. Possession or sale of them after the 90 day turn in period is a class D Felony, with prison time of one to five years, a $5,000.00 fine.

So, under the proposeed law, someone could end up in prison for as long or longer than a Meth dealer for simply owning a tin box?
Have people there checked the water supply for harmful chemicals and/or psychotropic agents?

Confiscating??? Wow, Big Brother is alive and well in Connecticut. That would render my legally purchased 9mm useless.

I know, right? Why ban any gun from law abiding citizens.. Unless, you want criminals (who WILL get them illegally)have the upper-hand.

I guess an effort must be made - in spades - to make sure they know they're being watched and people are opposed to it, but... Jeez!

This is intentional evil, and a deliberate attempt to destroy the rights of CT citizens. No stupidity here at all - just tyranny pure and simple.
