Maybe it's just me...and maybe Sarah Palin's a much better person than I. However, I have a hard time saying anything nice about Geraldine Ferraro. If it were up to her there would be no Reagan 2nd term, and even worse as a pro-choice Democrat Geraldine Ferraro supported the holocaust of millions of unborn babies. It's very hard to have sympathy for someone who knowingly supported a holocaust. Ask yourself this question, would you feel bad if Gaddafi was killed after what he did to the innocent civilians in Libya? I know I wouldn't.

The weird thing about Geraldine Ferraro is that although she is a democrat, I have seen her interviewed numerous times on the Fox News Channel and it kind of freaked me out that she, Ferraro, was starting to come around to some very conservative viewpoints.

Especially the treatment of conservative women by liberals and such organizations as NOW.

I think Sarah hit the perfect tone in her letter of sympathy to the family.
I live in NYC and am on the total opposite side of the political spectrum from Gerry Ferraro. But I always found her to be someone with whom you could always have an open, honest, respectful dialogue.
She was a woman of great personal accomplishment and set a tone sorely missing in politics today. If it weren’t for women like Gerry Ferraro, we wouldnt have women like Sarah or Michele Bachmann.
My sympathies to her family.. May she rest in peace.

I've heard tell that on ones death bed many things that were important to you in life suddenly a not so important.

The last hour, you've already forgotten that you're American. Nationality's not so important anymore.

Then goes your concern as to whether or not Kerry beats Bush, or the republicans win congress. It's no longer a concern in your life even if you were a life long political pundit like a Rush Limbaugh or an Ann Coulter. You could see on the TV John Kerry making his victory speech and it would not matter.

The important things in life narrow down to only a few. Close family and friends.

Only the American soldier who is killed in battle dies as an American.

On the death bed we are no better than any other political party, race, nationality...

Now once we meet our maker. That's a different story. I'll leave it up to God to judge others. In God's eyes judging others could be no better than murder. The reason both are wrong is because the violator is trying to play God.
