Mine was on, too, but I was reading the newspaper and never heard a word of what he said. Never looked up.

I wonder how mant of those 25.6 million knew he was lying through his teeth?

Excellent question.

I know people who voted for him and will do so again.

My dad bought a 12” Philco TV home in 1949. We were the first on the block to have one. “Kukla, Fran and Ollie” was among the first shows I watched, along with “Howdy Doody” and “Tom Corbett, Space Cadet.”

"In 1950 a 12" Philco Black and White TV sold for $499 with only 6 million television sets in American homes. TV manufacturers became 10% of all trading on Wall Street in 1950." Tv ads of 1950.

(Hard to believe it was that expensive.)

WE got our first TV in ‘55. Right off the bat my favorites were the “Roy Rodgers & Dale Evans” show. Lone Ranger, Have Gun Will Travel, Gene Autry, Sky King, Fury, My Friend Flicka and Walt Disney.

TV helped shape positive American morality in those days.

“I’m sure, has Kukla passed.”

The creator of Kukla Fran & Ollie, Burr Tillison died in ‘85 at the age of 68.

Fran Allison Died in 89 at the age of 81.

“Ollie” the one tooth dragon, can still be be seen in a museum.

I promised myself I would stick with it at least long enough to hear him utter his first lie. Needless to say, that occurred at the 0:02 mark when Obama said, “My fellow Americans . . . “
