Early New Hampshire Polls Solid for Romney
Elephant Watcher ^ | April 26, 2011

"As always, all of the latest state polls for early primaries are available on the Primaries page. There are still very few polls being done in New Hampshire. Only two of them have been conducted since Trump's political media appearances began:

4/21 ARG -- Romney 32, Trump 17, Gingrich 8, Giuliani 8

4/03 PPP (D) -- Romney 27, Trump 21, Gingrich 12, Huckabee 12

2/14 WMUR/UNH -- Romney 40, Huckabee 7, Pawlenty 7, Palin 6

Individual polls mean little because the chance of inaccuracy is so high. But if they are all in agreement upon a certain point, it's likely to be true. Here, the conclusion to be drawn is that Romney will start the race in very good shape in New Hampshire...."

Are there any candidates within the Tea Party movement who can keep Romney from taking New Hampshire, or should they focus on Iowa/South Carolina instead?

If this holds, we are soooo screwed. Hopefully Romney is just peaking early, like Rudy did. McLame was way down on the list at this point four years ago.

I am not so sure at this point Romney would be any better than Obama. I think a few other potential Rep candidates also fall into this category. For sure the Republican Party still doesn't get it. Pray that we have a good candidate, and pray that the American people understand the urgency and select a President that can save our Republic, if it's not too late.

Giuliani is in that first poll?

Has he given any indication whatsoever that he’d be interested in running?

As I keep saying, Trump running cuts Romney's support, and it'll dry up a lot of his campaign funds. Not to mention hurt the Democrats who have to keep an eye out for a Trump nomination, which would probably put New York, Hawaii, Florida and a heck of a lot of other places into play against Obama.

Who's the conservative in the race, though... Least if Trump's running defense, they have a shot of surviving to the South, but..need someone in there quick.

Just one more reason to close the primaries and move larger states like Ohio and texas to the front of the primary line.

There should be one nationwide primary day.

There's n one on this list who I would consider supporting other than Trump. Note...the original at top has Palin in the last group...I took her off to make my point.

Romney, Huckster and Gingrich are absolutely out. I’m open-minded to the others.

Romney’s popularity in NH is probably due to regional ID he has a summer home here remember. he also saved someone on the lake a few years back so he has name ID in a positive way.
he has an advantage right now and he may win NH but that doesnt necessarily mean that he wins the nomination. Heck McCain won NH in 2000 then lost to Bush
all this being said if Romney is the nominee i think he would be better than Obama

“Has he given any indication whatsoever that he’d be interested in running?”

yes he said something to the effect that if it looks like someone who cannot win the general may get the nomination he will run.

New Hampshire, you’ve not paid attention to the screwed-up mess Romney created in Massachusetts between RomneyCare and the horrible, society-undermining left-wing judges he saddled us with. Do you want the same for the whole country? - Then just vote Obama.

Romney is a LOSER along with the Huckster!

The only way Romney wins the primary up here will be the result of Dim cross-overs voting as Republicans. If Romney is the final candidate - I’m voting for Ron Paul.

I’ll go further. It’s high time we codified the primary process, instead of leaving it up to individual parties. Among other things, superdelegates need to go.

They did. Obama over McCain by 10%...a margin of 75,000 votes.

Conservative state? Yeah...right.

Disappointed, but not surprised.

How can you say that? I am by far no Romney fan but generally speaking, there can be NO ONE worse than the America-hating marxist we have today.
