These polls are useless at this stage. They are historically poor predictors of what will happen, and they reflect little of any importance, but rather just name recognition, in such a potentially crowded fields, especially when the “headliners” haven’t even entered the race (or announced that they’re not going to).

This is actually a drop of 4 points for Palin from the previous poll by the same outfit. As bad as it is to use polls as predictors this far out, it is even worse to use results from two different pollsters to try to claim a trend. And anyone touting this poll should also have to acknowledge the results showing that 58% of Americans would never vote for Palin under any circumstances.

They mean nothing at this juncture. Zero, zilch, nada.
Polling will begin to matter in each state as they get close to a primary and that's it.
I predicted to a friend last night that Sarah will receive a huge, maybe unstoppable surge after she announces. All I know is that I’d be totally satisfied and thrilled with her as the GOP nominee. Bob
