A helmeted Sarah Palin (some girls really can wear anything) launched her bus tour with Rolling Thunder, ramping up speculation about whether shes in or is she out. Naturally, the slavish press is following her every move, hoping for some real or imaginary gaff they can use against her.
The media is confused. Palin is snubbing the press and talking to actual humans instead. Taking collective cluelessness to a new level, the press is perplexed as to why she would avoid them.
Whatever shes up to, Palin is forcing the media to deploy a lot of expensive resources to follow her around.
Meanwhile, more high profile republicans, Rick Perry and Rudy Giuliani have made comments about potentially getting into the presidential race, also commanding a sudden whoosh of media attention.
Cynical types could start to speculate that someone is playing games with the media. If everyone is potentially running, the MSM will have a tough time aiming their scuds.
In any case, Palins Jerk the Media Around Tour started out with a loud bang.

It’s all good, a way to cut into Soros’ money. He’ll get the shock of his life when he finds out that some things are worth more than money.
I like that name. As has been rightly noted, one cannot have a media frenzy which has not been started by ... THE MEDIA!
Yep. That's pretty much the dictionary definition of clueless...
They honestly can’t grok what she’s doing. CNN is on here at work all day and every time I walk through the breakroom and see a report on Palin, the condescension oozing from the presstitutes is amazing. When she made her comment about the “lamestream media” on Fox last week, the CNN mid-morning anchorette reported it with snarky “finger quotes” and dripping sarcasm. Well, chica, the yelping dog is usually the one that got hit, and you bleeps yelp pretty loud every time Sarah throws a high-heeled shoe at you.
