This would be his 70th golf outing. Evidently, respect for the war dead only goes so far with Obama. After his perfunctory appearance at Arlington, he took off for some q time with his golf clubs.
"The president did pay his respects in the morning, laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington National Cemetery, but later in the day traveled to Fort Belvoir to play golf."
Not that anyone should be surprised, of course. We shouldn’t expect more from this president, after all, narcissists like Obama can’t possibly be expected to show empathy and he’s not nearly as gifted an actor as Bill Clinton.
With this guy, I guess we can be happy that he wasn’t playing golf in the cemetery. He’s played 70 times? Ahhh...our free and impartial press.
Our ROE over there are horrible. Right now my son’s co. will be taking over for the Canadians, so they are support for now. He said the Canadians are allowed to take care of business, they will not have the same latitude once they take over.
They must observe Taliban activity for 72 hrs. before they can do anything. They cannot fire unless they are fired at, once the Taliban drop weapons, they are now considered civilians. We capture Taliban, after video taping them laying IED’s and they are held for 96 hrs. given food, medical care and released.
I understand also they have to identify the man, weapon & muzzle flash before they fire.
I’m no expert, but it seems to me that if you’re seeing muzzle flash, you’re a bit late to respond.
