Our beloved Salvation who prayer pings for everyone in need has broken her arm. She is no spring chicken so a broken arm is different later in life especially a woman. I am asking for all to pray for our fellow Freeper. Let's show our support in prayer. Thank you

Prayers up. Salvation will be in my evening rosary as will all Freepers.
Therapy will help, just don’t overdo. I am no spring chicken, more like a tough turkey but it is slow to heal for us. Get well soon Salvation and God bless.

Glad you are on the mend. My last PT treatment was Monday. My shoulder is healed and range of motion as good as when I broke it...which wasn’t as good as when I was 25.!

Oh man Salvation. I am so sorry but I did not hear about this. Thank God you are alright. Hopefully with the OT you will have your old wrist back in no time. Prayers that you wrist is just like new in MUCH LESS than six weeks.
Today I found out that I have a pinched nerve between my L5 & S1 vertebrae. This explains the last three months of back pain. I go to the pain management doctor tomorrow to see what can be done about it.
The good news here is that now they have something to treat.

I know about broken bones (too much), though never an arm and they stink. Healing is touch and go even when in your prime.
As to the wrist brace I did have one of those too for strained ligaments in my left wrist. And like you say at least you can take that off at times.
Weird thing is that for yeeeears it didn't bother me after it 'healed' then one day a couple years back I tried playing a Chuck Berry solo on my guitar and stretched my fingers a little too far (he has huge hands and long fingers) and WHAM, I thought I got shot. It still hurts now.
So just watch out when playing your Guitar :-)
