I love these computer tough guys who want to blow everything up, have no suggestions for anything. WHAT’S YOUR SUGGESTION? WHO DO YOU SUPPORT? WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ADVANCE THE CAUSE? I see nothing of that in your crappy, whiny posts.

Rush knows better, and I'm waiting for him to snap out of it.

Jesus is returning too and I suspect he'll get just as much criticism from the perfect world FReepers for his feeding the unemployed masses and plying them with wine rather then telling them to go out and get jobs............../sarc

"He put his trust in government to a certain point and now he has been disappointed."

NO he didn't and NO he wasn't!

Rush doesn't trust the current government one iota....and all last week he WARNED us every day how the House and Senate would betray us, so he wasn't in the least "disappointed" about the two votes. Just disgusted.

I don't know what's wrong with some of you folks. I listened to every word of Rush today.....and, while he's PO'd, he didn't say he's giving up the good fight. He made a lot of pointed statements for the sake of emphasis, parody, satire, irony and warning ....but only fools will take any of these out of context as any indication that this twenty-some-years veteran of the leftist wars is quitting the battlefield because of the debt issue.

In fact, I felt quite lifted after his show today because he explained things about the country's economic situation in a fact-filled way that showed me he knew what the hell he was talking about....plus what we're in store for. And he willingly gave us the benefit of his knowledge by sharing it with us for three solid, rapid-fire hours.

What other host or pundit is doing ditto?

“It is over, I heard Rush today, he was right on. They gave Obama a 2.4 Trillion dollar free spending pass, at his press conference all Obama did was talk about, guess what? Stimulus and Infrastructure, because, you know, those things create jobs (puke). All of the money is going to to to the unions and therefore right back into the democratic relection funds, specifically Obama’s. Either way, Obama wins or loses, the country is so damn broke we can NEVER, EVER recover, it’s impossible. The country is ruined, over, done fer. That was he goal from the start, and he’s been damn effective at it.

I’m not a quitter, I’m a realist, so is Rush. I’m sure those in Rome who loved the senate tried everything to keep it going and thought it would never really die, but died she did, and so shall this country, and very soon.”

I hope you don’t really believe America is over, but if you do please move aside when the troops move up to the front. This is NOT over. I have a family and
a country to save.

I don’t know. You can like a person even if they do bonehead things once in a while (remember Reagan’s amnesty bill...made with the best of intentions but you know what intentions pave) and still like them. My comment was in response to Rush supporting Mitt. In the last election he thought he’d be a better choice than McCain but he still considers him a RINO given his comments on him.

“Rush is on a roll today. He called Obama a ‘jackass’.”

This morning we saw Michael Graham on Imus’ show. The guy was on a roll. Called Obama “President Loser”, and just ripped him apart mercilessly. (Hate Imus, but some of his guests are entertaining.)

I’ve been saying America is over for a while now. I’ll get flamed, but that is my take on things.

You won't get flamed by me. I think you nailed it.

An electorate that could put a nothing like Zero in the White House pretty much means it's over. A break-up without a civil war is now my hope. If it takes war, this time I'd like to "get three million, instead of what we got". Take no prisoners; they can't be cured.

>> “Why? what exactly is the negative effect that would have on them if they get cash for the bonds?” <<

.
Because they are the very thieves that set up the debt scam, and have been profiting from it for 100 years.

We’re talking about the belly of the beast now.

Most of the bonds are held by the thieves that created the debt scam by creating the “Federal Reserve.”

They deserve to lose, as as for the private investors, they lose either way; at least the nose dive would end for them. They’re never going to get snot when the whole thing comes down, as it must.

It would definitely not be inflationary. You just don’t understand the inflationary nature of govt bonds. The inflation has already happened, and the exchange would not affect total money supply, and it would almost certainly result in a steady velocity increase that could take us out of this debt caused depression.

Our problem was created by the unwholesome relationship between banks and government. The way people vote is managed by the propaganda ministry (AKA News Media) and works at the behest of the above Bank/Government klatsch.
(remember McCain-2008?)

Thanks for reposting that quote. It’s a hall-of-famer! Was wondering how it ended up in a German periodical in Prague. Did a search and found that it was posted three months earlier on a Reuters forum concerning Soros and the annual Davos meeting of economic big-shots. That posting was entered in quotes by a certain ‘O2BINTEXAS.’ The original post and ensuing thread can be read here: http://mobile.reuters.com/article/comments/idUSLDE60Q23H20100127?page=24&irpc=932

The quote seems to be a riff based on a declaration of Cicero’s, which is quoted later in the same comment thread. That quote reads,

“Do not blame Caesar, blame the people of Rome who have so enthusiastically acclaimed and adored him and rejoiced in their loss of freedom and danced in his path and gave him triumphal processions. … Blame the people who hail him when he speaks in the Forum of the ‘new, wonderful good society’ which shall now be Rome’s, interpreted to mean ‘more money, more ease, more security, more living fatly at the expense of the industrious.’” –Roman statesman Marcus Tullius Cicero (106-43 B.C.) .” CopyKatnj was the name of the poster of the Cicero quote. (http://mobile.reuters.com/article/comments/idUSLDE60Q23H20100127?page=13&irpc=932)

Anyway, just FYI. I like tracking down original sources of these sayings. If anyone knows of an earlier appearance of the first quote from O2BINTEXAS, I’m all ears.

I listened to Rush for a bit today, too, and I didn’t hear this ‘It’s all over!’ stuff, either.

If he wasn’t go good and so powerful, no one would attack him, so the stings of mosquitos would make him chuckle, if he weren’t so busy being who he is—namely, the guy who’s don’e more for conservatism than anyone since Ronald Reagan.

Good observation.

You can only go so far tearing other people down. Be it Rush, Reagan, Palin or anyone who has championed conservatism, all have of course been critical of those we’re fighting politically, but when I think about those three I think of how they tried to build up the nation, the movement, and those who might be on our side if only they had someone to rally around.

For someone who complains about Rush ‘whining,’ the blogger sent me a whining private e-mail that, as with this piece, is nothing but distortion, complaint and self-aggrandizement attained by bashing someone who one may not agree with on everything but who certainly tried to raise people up.

The last time conservative Republicans controlled the three branches of government in TEXAS was....er, NOW, since Rick Perry. Someone tell me where else that’s true? Someone tell me how many state’s, even with conservative governor’s, best TEXAS in jobs? Exhibit A is TEXAS, under Rick Perry.

Perry has not had much to do when it comes to jobs in Texas. Texans take care of that. Perry did sign a bill that put an income tax on businesses (franchise tax). The truth is that the Texas executive is not extremely powerful. The power lies with the Lt. Gov is more powerful. Except when there are special sessions and then the gov. sets the agenda. That is why Perry has had so many special sessions. He can also do executive orders but as you can see from the Gardasil mess that power is only good if the public and the legislature is agreeable.
