Perry can do no wrong in the mind of a Perry apologist.

I liken them to code pink cowards who don't have the stones to oppose their dear leader. The big difference is the fact that I don't hear code pink promoting what they traditionally oppose.

That is the United States of America Policy.

Actually, no it is not. But it was part of Harry Reid's failed Dream Act that was opposed by conservatives here on FR and conservatives in congress. And if failed.

Enlistment into the U.S. Navy, or any branch of the U.S. military, by citizens of countries other than the United States is limited to those foreign nationals who are legally residing in the United States and possess an Immigration and Naturalization Service Alien Registration Card (INS Form I-151/551 — commonly known as a "Green Card").
http://www.navy.mil/navydata/navy_legacy_hr.asp?id=167

And I never said RINO Rick was talking about the parents, I knew quite well he was talking about their kids who are ILLEGAL aliens also. Said kids were also the target of Harry Reid's failed Dream Act that was opposed by conservatives, not pro-ILLEGAL alien, pro-open borders RINOS like RINO RICK PERRY. And that he would call someone a Texan who is in the country ILLEGALLY serves one purpose, it reveals he is PRO-ILLEGAL ALIEN!

Perry is a RINO and a fraud. He may have you fooled but fortunately those of us in the rest of the country are not.

In honor of the Rick Perry Macho man village people thread yesterday. (Sung to the tune of YMCA)

Gomez, there’s no need to feel down
I said Gomez, pick yourself off the ground
I said Gomez, ‘cause your in a new town
There’s no need to be unhappy

Gomez, there’s a place you can go
I said Gomez, when you’re short on your dough
You can stay there and I’m sure you will find
Many ways to have a good time

It’s fun to sneak into the USA
It’s fun to sneak into the USA
They have everything for young men to enjoy
You can hang out with all the boys

It’s fun to sneak into the USA
It’s fun to sneak into the USA
You can get yourself clean you can have a good meal
You can do whatever you feel

Gomez, are you listening to me
I said Gomez, what do you wanna be
I said Gomez, you can make real your dreams
But you’ve got to climb this one fence

Its a work in progress along with the photoshop job.

It always amazes me to see people criticize McCain for being an avowed Leftist five out of six years, then volunteer to be a avowed Leftist one out of four years themselves.

Backing a RINO, IS NOT the actions of a Conservative folks.

Rick Perry does not qualify as a Conservative. He’s still locked in the 1988 profile of a Democrat. He always has been.

Do people not remember what Democrats were like when Reagan was president? We’re they pretty sane back then? Hell no. And yet Rick Perry was pleased to be Al Gore’s Texas campaign chairman.

Since that time, Perry exclaims he has changed. No he hasn’t. If you follow his big government, anti-land rights, dictatorial and pro illegal immigrants policies, he’s been the ideal of what the modern Democrats claim to be.

No Rick. You’re just to slick.

Thanks SJB. It’s really strange for me to see so many people glom on to this guy so quickly, in light of what he actually is.

What I want is simple.

I want a candidate who speaks clearly about what he or she really believes and doesn’t retreat at the first sign of controversy.

What I don’t want is a candidate who says they’re OK with gay marriage being decided by the states, then quickly changes it to say they support a federal amendment which is 100% opposite from the original statement given days before.

Rick Perry, the Eddie Haskell candidate.

I would never vote for him, but John Huntsman has shown more courage than St Rick. He knows his position will cost him, but he isn’t retreating from it.

Yeah... what do you mean “one” strike ? He passed the threshold of three strikes a long time ago.

I meant in general you seem to rule out any candidate based on one (or a few) issues that you have with them. Which is perfectly fine if that works for you. I don't understand it, however.

My view is that Perry's pluses far outnumber his minuses, Palin's pluses far outnumber her minuses, Bachmann's pluses far outnumber her minuses, and Cain's pluses far outnumber his minuses. I have yet to encounter any candidate that, in my view, has no strikes against them.

First it was one now it's a few? lol! You Perry apologists crack me up!

Actually, it's more than a few, but you know that and you just don't care. I do, and so do many if not most of us who are keen to what Perry is all about.

A RINO is a RINO and RINO Rick Perry is a RINO.

Thanks for the chuckle.

I was getting daily e mails from Tea Party Nation, until a bunch of them took to Perry. I told the site owner to cease sending me e mails, but I’m still getting them : )

I'm aware of Perry's strikes. You and I have already hashed out his stance on immigration. In the end you couldn't say that any candidate was very good on that issue. Neither can I.

On Gardasil: My take, he acknowledged the pushback and rescinded the EO. He listened, in other words. It is right to question his motives, however, until we can know for certain what's in another's heart it is all speculation.

On TTC: I have no idea whether it would have ultimately been a good or bad thing. It probably would have been a "push," as we say here in rural Virginia. I think he learned from that Texas-size misadventure.
