We have an old car, too.

We have bicycles.

We heat the main area of the house during the winter with propane.

I store charcoal to cook with in an emergency.

We have an old landline telephone, so if the low voltage stuff can get back up with the phone company, we can communicate.

We have a hand-cranked short-wave radio.

We have food and water stored.

We have shooting irons.

Guess we’ll survive.

Actually, there will be hundreds of millions of "dead" cars full of gas. Don't forget your syphon hose!
