Well, since Cain WILL be our nominee, you should take up his cause and get it rolling.

it sure would be easier if the campaign were interested. I did the wait for Fred Thompson in ‘08 and he never showed up and ended up with 1%. Tough to do it without a candidate, staff, events and all the stuff.

get on the phone, dj, and find some supporters up there.

i don’t have a strong opinion on it, but the theory goes like this:
A. First step is to defeat Romney. By beating him in NH.
B. Then the race opens up to be Perry vs. a conservative, presumably Cain.

The whole things gets a lot easier if Romney is out. So that is the rational behind the conservatives backing Perry in NH. They figure it is their best chance to deal a fatal blow to Willard. And until Romney is defeated it is academic who everyone’s favorite conservative is.

Frankly, I think I’m gonna pull a sarah and just skip this race. But I’m agonna check it out.

FWIW, I think Mitt will flop. He’ll lose IA. NH will be close. He wins NV. Loses SC. and gets beat in FLA. At some point he hasta get a following amoungst the people cuz without it he’s just a guy with a big campaign checkbook.
