I had a MM2 {E-5} friend on the ship that had been in the Marines his first enlistment then made the Navy a carrer. The MARDET on the ship would be on the hanger deck drilling and he would from a hidden position give out an order LOL.
In my four years I never understood one order I heard given while watching MARDET drill. My guess is a posser would not be privy to such knowledge either.

What an interesting statement. I take it you don’t care for marines. Funny thing is I knew an old troll that said that EXACT same thing about the army and who also hated the marines. But I’m sure it’s just a coincidence. Let me know if you want to see those posts, I still have them. Funny thing is he was from Kansas too.
