Steve Jobs gave more than he got

Absolutely. It's beyond Ipod and Ipad - there are entire industries that were built out of what came out of his brain, employing many thousands who, because of Jobs can make their way in the world with no need for charity.

I cut my teeth programming on the Mac, in 1985. I’m by no means an Apple cult worshipper now, but even twenty-five years ago it was apparent that Steve Jobs was not only a genius, but one who knew how to get things DONE. That is an exceptionally rare talent set that the world will miss going forward.

Jobs will always have my profound respect.
