Here is video of a new Jon Huntsman ad that features his daughters spoofing Herman Cain’s recent bizarre “smoking ad” that featured his Chief of Staff smoking a cigarette. I kid you not!
In this ad, Huntsman’s daughters wear fake mustaches as they mimic the content of Cain’s ad. But they close by blowing soap bubbles instead of smoking a cigarette. How this is supposed to make you want to vote for Jon Huntsman I’ll never know. . . .

One thing I like about Herman’s campaign: he doesn’t have his family all over it.

What can Huntsman possibly be using for money to continue this exercise in futility?
I honestly fail to see why people keep repeating that Cain’s ad was “bizarre.”
A man, who happens to smoke, stood up and said some nice things about Mr. Cain.
The man appears as if he is so used to sucking on a cancer stick, that he doesn’t even realize he’s doing it while he’s filming.
At the end, the script calls for him to look into the camera for a minute. Without seeming to think about it, he does what he always does when he’s quiet for a moment: he takes a drag and lets a tiny puff out.
I read the hype about this thing and expected to see someone smoking like a chimney and billowing huge puffs of black smoke toward the camera nonstop, while he talked behind a smokey haze. You know, really “in your face, jackwagon!” stuff. Meh.
What a hoax!
I vote for the “just Block being Block” description. I doubt I would have even noticed the smoking had people not had a tizzy-fit over it for some reason.
What? It was a perfectly innocent statement.
Now there needs to be a remix of this with Rebecca Black’s “Friday.”

They’re not bizzare. By modern media/internet standards they’re quite tame.
What’s funny is the media outlets acting like they’ve never seen anything like this. Are they still living in the last century?
It’s like they only expect ads to be delivered by the post office and network TV, and can’t understand why Cain is wasting time with this internet thingy.
Well, at least Huntsman doesn’t wear fake eyebrows.
Yes. I have often said they are focused on how well Cain is going to deploy the Pony Express, but he’s figured out that, um, the telegraph has been invented.
I don’t see this as helping him.
