I think this was the best debate so far this year. I really like how Newt stood up to defend his stance on immigration. Who do you think won?

POLL: Who won the 11/22/2011 CNN Republican National Security Debate? Vote: Click Here

Without a doubt it was Newt, our former speaker and next president.

Looked like Newt was pandering for Hispanic votes. To Conservatives that I know, 2 issues are paramount: the economy and illegal immigration. Newt truly stepped in it, and has become unsupportable like Romney.

My biggest problems with illegals ...other than that they ARE illegal.

1. They come here to steal us blind---they ride the US gravy train with multiple identities which "impoverished" illegals buy for several thousand dollars each. Vote-crazed candidates do not directly address this outrage----probably b/c illegals vote several times each, using forged and faked ID's. Romney came close----addressing the “magnet” that draws them here...but Perry won't touch it with a ten foot pole since he collapsed over his in-state tution handouts. Neither can be trusted to do what's necessary.......cut out ALL benefits.

2. Illegals have no intention of becoming Americans. They pocket all the US benefits they can get, and want to force their culture on the rest of us. NO candidate EVER questions their loyalties........and the threat this poses to US ntl security.

Do they really care about this country? Do they even understand this country beyond what they can GET from it. Read on.

==========================================

DID PERRY MAKE A DEAL WITH LA RAZA to place Raza studies (Mexican-American studies) in Texas schools? Raza studies have been taught in Arizona for a decade......then they passed a law against it....but it still goes on

RAZA STUDIES One of the textbooks used is titled “Occupied America,” which was written by Rodolfo Acuña and includes a speech given by activist and university professor Jose Angel Gutierrez in which he says: “We have got to eliminate the gringo, and what I mean by that is if the worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him,” (pg. 323). The book also talks about the need for Mexico to re-take seven states in the Southwestern United States.

The following rather shocking quotes are taken directly from Occupied America (pg. 167):

“Supporters would execute all white males over age 16,” (also known as the Plan of San Diego).

“The Southwest would become a Chicano nation.”

In addition to using taxpayer funds to enforce such polarizing beliefs in Latino children in traditional public schools, the organization known as La Raza operates 100 charter schools across the country.

The following is a select list of La Raza charter schools:

-La Academia Semillas del Pueblo (Los Angeles)

-Atzlan Academy (Tucson, AZ)

-Mexicayotl Academy (Nogales, AZ)

-The Dolores Huerta Prepatory High School (Pueblo, CO)

-Academia Cesar Chavez Charter School (St. Paul, MN)

In 2005 alone, $7.9 million in taxpayer funding was given out to these charter schools in the form of U.S. Department of Education grants. These schools stress Latino culture, the Spanish language, the re-conquest of the American Southwest, the establishment of the mythical Atzlan, and even Aztec math.

=================================================

REFERENCE---WHY IS THIS NOT CONSIDERED AN ACT OF WAR? Five illegal immigrants armed with at least two AK-47 semi-automatic assault rifles were hunting for US Border Patrol agents near a desert watering hole known as Mesquite Seep just north of the Arizona-Mexico border when a firefight erupted and one US agent was killed, records show.

====================================================

CONCLUSION Looks like Perry’s policy of appeasement with Mexico is working fine——no Texas border shootings as long as Mexico gets what it wants from Perry: passage of the Dream Act, in-state tuition, Perry’s promising no Arizona- type laws in Texas........and so on, and so forth, ad infinitum, ad nauseasum.

i want a conservative.

bachmann i would vote for, but she has no traction.

santorum has less.

cain’s the remaining conservative.

i’m not voting for a nootie or a romney.

Newt’s stance on so called “immigration” is indefencible...

cain’s the remaining conservative.

I don't agree that Cain is all that conservative.

With no voting record, who knows. You have to believe in him on faith. He has had too many awkward moments trying to explain what he meant by what he said.

Just my take and why I've changed my opinion of Cain.

just who do you have in mind?

romney and newt are not conservatives.

my wife and i ardently supported sarah palin. but she’s not running.

time’s running out. some candidates have failed to meet the missouri primary already.

unfortunately cain hangs onto a method of explanation that does not conform to sound bites and invites questions. pelley bit his tongue to stop himself from laughing at cain.

one would think that someone would convince him to change his presentation.

Poll is useless, except for the STOO-PID questions later on. The Paul-Zombies have hit the poll big-time.

Illegal immigrant are like “cheap energy” for certain US business sectors, plain and simple. That’s why businesses like illegal immigration and the working class hates it (the middle class ends up paying for the healthcare employers of illegals won’t provide).

I can understnad that Newt is trying to throw a pass ahead to the general election, when Hispanics will vote in droves. However, i think he has made a serious mistake. The humane thing to do would be to stand behind law-abiding Americans and people who immigrate to the US through legal channels. Alleviate the already devestating cost of health care for the middle class by ending the “cheap energy” pipeline of human misery and dishonesty.

I missed this debate too. Another Hitler Marathon was on the Military Channel.

But from what I now know Newt stepped in fresh dog poop with his STOO-PID ILLEGAL stance.
(he's now on my 'Hell No List' with Ricky)

I don't give a Rat's A$$ if they've been here for 25 years or 25 minutes, illegal is ILLEGAL, mr. Newt. As far as 'breaking up families' goes, a Bank Robber or any Felon gets separated all the time from his/her kids even if it's only his first crime and doesn't get caught for years, and even 'finds religion'. When convicted -- Off They Go. It's the same difference.

Plus nobody is saying the family has to be 'broken up'. A spouse can go back to Mexico, or wherever, with their Husband and/or illegal Wife and take their spawn with them. I do believe that Mexico has those 'school thingys' too. And even those colleges and universities.

But what they DON'T HAVE in Mexico is 'FREE GUBMINT WELFARE FOR LIFE'.
Gee, I wonder if that factors into anything? /s

I missed the debate.....a Hitler Marathon was featured on the Military Channel.

Ach der lieber, you didn't miss much.

There were some entertaining comedic moments....... when Perry pontificated on one of his well-rehearsed, circa 1928 talking points, then loooked out into the crowd, waiting for applause------and heard dead silence.

Nice change of pace. Happened time and time again. Kept waiting for it just to see the look on P-doofus' face. ROTFL.

And get this---Perry even tried a Reaganesque, "There you go again." That cost him bigtime----daring to imitate The Gipper-----one new poll showed Perry at zero %.

It's way past time for vote-crazed politicans to come clean and acknowledge what what we all know-----illegals have no intention of becoming Americans.

They violate our borders for one reason----to pocket all the US benefits they can get their greedy hands on, and to become a "voting bloc" to pressure pols for foreign aid and other give aways to their homelands.

NO candidate EVER questions their loyalties........and the threat this poses to US ntl security.
