Men die first because they want to.
Only two of those were really dumb...the guy on the aluminum ladder in a swimming pool, and the forklift carrying the bomb that drove off the loading dock. The rest were cool!
men also do brave things.
It’s because men DO things, while women talk about things...
Women are realists; men are idealists. That’s the difference.
The fork truck and bomb was clearly staged: that bomb is too long to have gone through that loading dock overhead door sideways!
Necessity is the Mother of invention, so blame it on the mothers.
The fork lift lifting another one: give them credit, at least the used the big one to lift the smaller one.
The one with the guys in level B suits and SCBA’s: The other guy is either the fire chief or assistant fire chief who came in on his day off (golf) to supervise the operation. I knew, having witnessed it before, that a white shirt will protect you from unknown things that could kill you, but evidently pink also works. Live and learn.
Whoa.....
Whoa.....
Married men don’t really live longer that single men, it just seems that way.
More seriously, men do the dirty, dangerous jobs that women don’t. Men fill their lungs with coal dust working the mines, drive trucks on icy roads, splice electrical cable in ice storms to restore power, and do the combat duties that women aren’t suitable for.
we need to do foolish things so we can get AWAY from them!!!
All them are great examples of male creativity.
A woman looks at a gas can and matches and sees a gas can and matches. A guy looks at the same thing and sees a world of possibilities.
Women are as a group inherently less prone to taking risks. Women also have an advantage in longevity due to the health advantages of genetic redundancy with two X chromosomes, whereas men have an X and a Y.
On the upside for men, incidence of genius is much, much higher due to wider genetic variation. On the downside and possibly feeding into shortened longevity on average, incidence of absolute stump stupid is much higher as well due to the same wider genetic variation, all thanks to the influence of the Y chromosome.
