Socialism: Kids Love It

December 19, 2011 By

Many of you may be familiar with a new movement sweeping our nation, and, if you are less than thirty-two, they claim to be speaking for you.  Just like Paul Revere warned the earliest Americans that the British were indeed coming, I am warning you today that change is coming, and at the expense of everything we stand for.

This new movement known as Generation WE is a movement that blatantly spreads full-scale communist ideals via a largely youthful and diverse mouthpiece.  They claim to be momentously (and in my opinion dangerously) non-partisan and are looking for “real change” (I guess they didn’t get it in ’08).

The group categorizes themselves as being strongly progressive several times throughout it’s duration.  What astounds me most is the fact that that eight to ten year olds have allegedly come to embrace such worldly progressivism all by themselves.  I thought that most children were more interested in cartoons and candy than in learning of progressive ideas and politics.  I guess times have changed.

This claim of non-partisanship is completely bogus and those who support it are clearly evidenced on the Generation We website, where you can find a list of endorsements for the movement.

Muhammad Yunus, a man who was heralded for starting the Grameen Bank.  This bank practices baseless injections of credit to those who do not have the means of re-paying in order to bolster the economy in Bangladesh.  Sound familiar?  It should, this is the same logic from which the housing crisis was created.

Van Jones, who was the former Green Jobs Czar until his affiliation in the 9/11 Truth movement caused him to resign, has been openly pushing socialist agendas in the United States for a very long time.  In his latest venture, Rebuild the Dream, he has instituted a new contract for America.  In this contract things like a tax on all stock trades, Medicare for all and a new tax bracket on those making over one million dollars a year are advocated.

The list continues with Harry Reid, Adriana Huffington, and many others. This video is the Communist Manifesto revisited.

As we continue our dissection of this video, we also find that there are several other faulty Obama policies.  The first being an argument that the United States has the highest child poverty level in the developed world.  According to the National Center for Children in Poverty, children living in homes that make less than $22,050 dollars per year are considered “in poverty.”  However, they go on to say it is “estimated” that it costs double that to provide for all basic needs which, in turn, raises the rate to 42% of all children.

While child poverty is a problem, I highly doubt that it effects nearly half of our population.  As I recall, we have several programs in our welfare system that are designed to eliminate child poverty.  Children are eligible for state run medical care and various food and monetary programs like WIC and welfare.  So with all of these programs available, how, may I ask, is the poverty rate still forty-two percent?

The environment was not spared from this diatribe either.  The video claims that, in my lifetime, fifty percent of my generation will be diagnosed with cancer and one third with diabetes.  Really?  Fifty percent of my generation will have cancer?  Are they seriously implying that eight-three percent of the human population will be struck with debilitating disease in the next seventy-five years?  At no time in history of the developed world, not even in the days of the bubonic plague, has disease ever flourished like that.  Nonetheless, they’ve found a bunch of innocent kids to spout off these irresponsibly incorrect numbers to take emotional hostages.

One issue that I found almost comical was their call for an end to all military action.  Where does this idea that, if we just stop fighting, world peace will flourish come from?   In the same breath they talk about a just and sustainable world.  Vegetius, a Roman military author, once said, “If you want peace, prepare for war.”  How do you have justice and peace without war first?

The video also paints “baby boomers” in a very negative light.  Most, if not all, of the major job-producing industries in America are run and have been made possible through “baby boomer” money and labor.  Within this same video, there is talk of squandered inherence and high national debt; at the end of the film they talk about wanting billions to find new fuel sources.  Are we mad that we are ten trillion dollars in debt or do we want to further spend on capitalist ventures?  I’m confused.

The complete lack of authenticity in regards to this message tells me that the leadership group behind this video is about one thing: pushing a socialist agenda amongst the youth of America by infecting a small portion and watching it spread.  This is truly the most dangerous form of peer pressure.  Needless to say, I have a profound disrespect for the people behind this message, and I can only pray that this indoctrination doesn’t take hold among our youth.

Towards the end of the video, one of the speakers makes the remark that we as “Generation We will have the power to control the landscape of America.”  I sure as hell hope they don’t.

I don't care if kids love socialism, just as long as they stay away from the voting booth.

Most of them will fall out of love with socialism soon after they start getting pay checks....

How About What’s Fair for the Middle Class?

By David Asman

Published December 16, 2011

fox news

Everyone running for president has been talking about what’s fair in this country. The Democrats claim that the rich aren’t paying their fair share. Republicans say that it’s not fair to burden small businesses with an even higher tax load.

But forget the folks at the top and the bottom for a second.

How about the folks in the middle? It’s always the middle-class taxpayers who get squeezed. And they never have the lobbyists or the advocacy groups speaking out for them.

On college tuition, for example, the rich can afford the bills, the poor get the freebies, and the middle class gets squat. On health care, the rich get the golden benefits, the poor get Medicaid, and, again, the middle class have to go in hock to pay the bills.

And we all know if Obamacare ever gets fully implemented, it won’t be “free”...somehow the middle class will end up paying the lion’s share of the extra costs.

And now we just got another example of how this system is unfair to the middle class. The average school teacher in America makes $56 an hour, which is about double what the average taxpayer makes. When I was teaching junior high about 30 years ago, teachers made significantly less than the average taxpayer. Now it’s double. And depending on the city, a similar pay differential is often true for cops, transit workers and even garbage men.

What the heck happened? A system in which public servants are paid a lot more than the taxpayers who fund them is not only unfair…it’s unsustainable.

Of all the unfairness in this country, it’s the unfairness of dumping on the middle class that has to be stopped first, no matter which candidate or which party comes into power.

If they can’t find jobs or only low paying ones, they will miss that lesson.

In normal times, a lot of 20-to-30-somethings live with room mates in a rental dwelling, have a lot of cast-off furniture, maybe a beater car and are fashionable with second-hand clothes. The ones who are more mature end up with decent jobs, get married and begin to live the modern consumer lifestyle. Still, there are always a few who never really change, even when they graduate and begin receiving better pay. They band together in collectives and seem to love spending inordinate amounts of time in group meetings where they criticize each other and plan various group projects. Eventually, they learn to write grants, join NGOs, teach and turn their de facto socialism into a career. They become the seeds that infect the next cohort as it ages.

This isn’t even factoring the trust babies or the inheritors who subsidize much of the socialistic behavior out of guilt and self-preservation. They don’t want to lose their friends, so they create venues in which they can all thrive.

They not only vote, they organize and some not only vote multiple times, with impunity, but make sure others do so, as well.

I don’t see how this is going to stop, but I believe we are in the end game and they are winning.

And some people think schools don’t teach progressive ideas and politics.Far to many progressive teachers in the system, guess how many love Obama&Co.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Our government's godless, single-payer, compulsory-attendance, compulsory-funded, K-12 socialist schools are our nation's **most** serious threat. One more generation of this indoctrination and our nation's freedom is **done**.

I am continually astonished that conservatives fail to share my urgency and concern.

Oh!...And...There has NEVER been a golden age of government single-payer socialist schooling. They have always been a socialist entitlement. At their best they dished out a generic and lukewarm Protestantism. What does Christ do with the lukewarm? He spits them out of His mouth!

In just one to three generations of socialist and secular compulsory schooling we had Franklin D. Roosevelt. Why? Answer: Because children who attend godlessly secular and socialist schools risk learning to be comfortable with socialism and looking to government to be their Savior and Redeemer.

I think they will continue to win, until we stop attacking our own.

Karl Rove, and the minions of Mitt Romney are destroying America.

By helping those leftists.

Why have you excerpted your own blog?

Is there objectionable content? Porn? Scientology?

Name one other vocation that pays as well without ever having to be held accountable.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Our nation's system of socialist schooling is such a serious threat to our freedom that I have recently made a decision:

I WILL NOT HAVE A GOVERNMENT TEACHER AS A FRIEND! ( Yeah! I am shouting).

The socialist schools are so evil and such a serious threat to our nation's freedom that I have concluded that anyone working in them and keeping them running is either too evil, too stupid, or too much of a Useful Idiot to be a friend. ( By the way, I made this decision about Democrats during the 2000 Florida election recount. )

As for those conservatives and Christians who feel they are making a difference by working in the socialist school, honestly, what difference have you made except to prop up this evil system? Have inexperienced parents chosen the socialist schools because they admire you and wrongly conclude that their local socialist school can't be **that** bad because you ( being so “nice”) work there?

Conservatives and Christians our nation's children need **rescue**. Work to close down the nation's socialist schools. Work to **rescue** our nation's children. Sneaking in a few crumbs of conservative Judeo Christian philosophy at them on occasion in their indoctrination camps is not enough and may teach them that Christians and conservatives are **sneaky**!

These are honest questions and observations that deserve an answer.

As stupid and inept the current generations are there won’t be any jobs that will pay more than McDonalds for them.

Welcome to FR, Mark! The seductive thing about Marxism - there is actually a fairly impressive list, but this is close to the top - is that its precepts are easy to grasp if one does not look too closely at the imprecision of terms. One person has more material possessions than another - every child can see that. Define that as "unfair" and you're off to the races.

Children are natural small-c communists - they reside in a collective to which they contribute very little or nothing, garner attention and personal needs by crying and shouting, subsist on largesse they come to regard an entitlement, and believe if they are not happy something systemic is wrong and needs to be changed. Most devotees of pop socialism are, in many senses, children who never had to grow up.

Real intellectual defenders of Marxism have certain of the same conceptual issues: it is, after all, the work of seconds to demonstrate that there is injustice in the world, and Marxism provides a mental framework within which a cause is ascribed and an easily identified population may be blamed (and against whom action, often violent and always emotionally satisfying, may be taken). It's a perfectly workable descriptive model that fails to be anything more than that because of a shortage of congruences with the real world. It's the picture of a garden a child paints and then finds that she can't plant real food in it.

Not that they don't try. But there are real people in the real world that are something more than units of a collective, and they bleed real blood. Make-believe needs to stop when that happens. For a Marxist, make-believe never stops.
