My sons and I went up into the foothills here in Idaho on New Year's Eve to celebrate the New Year in our own pecular way...with a Savage Firearms .308 hunting rifle (which needed its scope zeroed in) and my FAL .308 and Rueger Mini-14 .223.
Lot's of fun! Click on the pic or link for the video.
Hope you enjoy!
We need to preserve and display the spirit of the 2nd amendment...tom our family, friends, relatives, and neighbors...and particularly so all of these statists and tyrant wanna-bes know that spirit is still strong in the land and ready to fulfill its part in the constitutional scheme of things if ever required.
FYI...lots of fun here in Idaho on New Year’s Eve.
Awesome!
Great video, thx for sharing.
Cool Jeff, thanks.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Good to see you up and about, Jeff.
I’ve spent the morning installing new scopes and moving others around. It’s sunny here, so I’ll go out after a while and sight them in on paper, maybe shoot some cans, varmints and other targets of opportunity.
No Tannerite?!!
But more than anything I'm glad that your health has recovered so that you can get out and get out and enjoy it.
Happy New Year my FRiend.
I can’t tell you how my heart soared to see the video, Jeff! Seeing you up and about and outdoors shooting is the best belated Christmas present I have ever gotten.
Could not shoot off any fireworks here as the police are out in force impeding the shooting off of skyrockets because of fire danger ON THE BEACH! Yup, you got it, on the beach. God help us if we are not all saved from ourselves by some level of government.
So, on New Years Day went off to the local range and fired off some hardware: 300 win mag; 308 AR; 556AR; and 40sandW.
All in all not a bad way to start the New Year!
Happy New Year to All!
Thanks guys. The Lrod has been gopd to me...beyond my hopes and expectations.
In April, it will be two years sine those massive surgeries, rebuild, hospitlization and rehab...those seven months down in Houston.
But with a lot of faith, prayers, love, and watch care...and the will of a loving Father and His Son, I’ve been preserved thus far and every day is a gift.
I’ll never be back to where I was physically...but I am where the Lord wants me now and will make the best of it. Thanks again to all for their prayers and faith!
...and the shooting sure was fun.
Good to see that you’re up trudging the hills again!
Is that a well decorated .22LR?
All in all not a bad way to start the New Year!
Outstanding...and I agree. Great way to bring in the new year!
Yeah .. well Mr tough guy ... /8^) ...
I'll pray those recoil shots will be kind to you.
Having a bad back myself, when I saw you going back, I KNEW what your spine was doing.
I swear by naproxine sodium
Yes it is.
Thanks guys. The Lord has been good to me...beyond my hopes and expectations.
