Newt is the only person on stage who can rip Romney a new one and make Obama cower in fear! Go Newt!

While my inclination is the same as yours, I do not think either Newt or Santorum should yield at this point. Let's wait for two or three primaries, and at that point one of them should accept the writing on the wall and endorse the other not-Romney. I don't believe we have forever to decide, but with the survival of America as a free country dependent on removing Obama and replacing him with the person most able to repeal Obama's entire legacy, we should take enough time to compare the two in at least a few states.

Do you trust Santorum to endorse Gingrich over Romney?

I don’t.

I, for one, am not going to call for any candidate other than Newt to remove himself from the race. These are all veiled pleas to get Newt back to the forefront with dubious claims of conservatism based on decades-old performance.

He ran his race the way he wanted, he should live with it and quit bitching. I will not be cajoled into calling for his immaculation (ala Obama) 11 months away from the election. You can bet your a$$ that the Democrats are just itching to bring up whatever unpublicized dirt they have on him. (His history tells me that the likelihood is high).
