Actually Jim, he was right on one thing.

Back in the early Fall of 2008, he said that 0bama would win the election...and that he would be the WORST President the country has ever seen. He was right on that, not on much else since.

How many of these before folks (Hannity AHEM) quit calling him an expert?

I was wondering when any of these guys are ever going to start calling him on his misses? There are enough of them to point to. This will be another one.

Santorum second? So you agree with Morris that Santorum won the debate?

Agreed. Sometimes I wonder why the talking heads (and others) don’t pay attention to the crowd. Santorum got the smallest most pathetic little golf claps. Now, I realize the 2000 or so in the hall are not the entire universe, but there is no reason to think the other half million South Carolinians aren’t responding the same way.

Terry Jeffries, Dick Morris, and “friends of Rush” who all thought Santorum won that last debate — I always wondered what they were smoking. Maybe the voters in SC will prove them right and me wrong today, but I don’t think so. (to Rush’ credit, he was circumspect but never said he agreed with those who thought Santorum won, and he played a bad clip from Santorum, so I don’t know what he really thought) .

No, I think Newt won the debate. I had Santorum 2nd, maybe even tied with Paul...and Romney a distant third. THat was my opinion of the debate. We’ll know in a few hours how that translates to votes.

Interesting. I thought Newt “won” the debate in the first three minutes, but after that sort of coasted in. But who could blame him, this was an amazing and exhausting week for him. With Monday night, all he needed was to hit the first pitch out of the park, and he certainly did.

I thought Mitt was second, altho he did have one awful moment.
I thought Paul was pretty good for the most part.
I thought Santorum came off as whiney and petulant and just awful - and I thought the crowd agreed.

Again, those are just my “debate” scores, not my opinion over all.

Morris only became “relevant” (and I use that loosely) because he was seen as a democratic insider, who turned republican/conservative. I have read a couple of his books. Frankly, I am not impressed with his analysis or predictions. Wish Fox would quit showing him every nite.

Well, he did get Clinton elected. My prediction from sources in South Carolina: Newt wins by 8%. Do I win anything if I'm right and Dickie is wrong?

Democrats Have Already Started Making Ads Against Romney:

Not just that, they have been setting up this epic battle about the 99% vs Capitalism. It won’t work without Romney. Look for a lot more “missing” ballots (compliments of the local SEIU) to keep Romney in.

Dick has to be credible since Sean Hannity has him on his radio show. And we all know that Hannity only has the most credible people like Karl Rove giving commentary. It’s true, between telling us how humble and down to earth he is, Sean has credible people like Karl and Dick on. Did I mention he has Ann Coulter on too?

But seriously, we are now entering the “anyone but Newt” phase for the GOP establishment. We can expect Santorum to start getting more of their kudos. Wait until they start praising Ron Paul.

I love listening to Dick and his convoluted theories but he is never right about anything except the Clintoons. I think he has had to buy BOR more than a few steak dinners.

The media are pumping Santorum. They don't want to see him collapse and withdraw before he impedes Gingrich some more.

Bingo!

Dick Morris the Howard Cosell of politics.

Always right, always wrong, but fun to watch.

It does my heart good to see Morris say this. He’s been consistently wrong about everything since the past century. He predicted Hillary! would be running against Condi Rice in ‘08.
