Hey, friends.
I have a 7-year-old adopted daughter who is medically fragile with a host of health problems. She developed massive bleeding in her gastrointestinal tract earlier today. She's undergone multiple transfusions so far and is in surgery right now to find the source of the bleeding.
Jasmine has always been a fighter. And I know that no matter what the outcome is, she has always been safe and secure in the hands of God.
Would you all just lift our little Jasmine up in your prayers tonight? I simply ask you to pray that God's perfect will be done- nothing more, nothing less. Thank you all for your prayerful support of this amazing little girl.
I will let you know the outcome as soon as possible.

Thanks for the updates - continuing to pray for your daughter, you, and your family!
Jasmine has dramatically improved- so much so that she was discharged home tonight. She's grumpy, mega-tired, and still a bit under the weather... but she's home. We have no idea where the bleeding came from because by the time they scoped her, the octreotide had done its job and stopped the bleeding.
It's very likely to happen again. We don't know when. We just pray that we will be awake and right there when it does so we can get to the ER pronto with as little blood loss as possible.
My wife and I want to give you all our warmest and sincerest thanks for your prayers and support. God bless all of you for your kindness.
Should anything new arise, I know where I can turn for prayer. You are awesome, dear brothers and sisters!
